My wife and I enjoy your vlogs. Good luck in your hunt for a house. We bought a house in Hua Hin and will be there the end of March.

Btw I liked your house hunting video. That cat has a real future in real estate. lol Glad you've discovered Chiang Mai. It is my second home and I could easily live there permanently. Hope things go well for you. Have you checked out Mad Dog bar on the main strip near the soi you explored in the old city. They have a decent western breakfast on offer. Maybe I'm going deaf but I thought you had a Canadian accent when I first heard you.

Beautiful, if you can maybe you should make one on condo shopping in Chiang Mai.

Wow 3.2 mil. and no amenities at the Clover. Living in Chiang Mai for more than 25 years I can see they saw you coming. That house should sell for round 1.5 million. 3 air conditioners 60,000 baht maximum, awning 3000 Baht, water pump 1,200 baht. Second Home, Daiya Valley again 3.5 million Should be about 2 million because of more land the house is on. Screens everything should be furnished ready to move in except furniture and kitchen stove. The third house is near the new Promenada Mall, again prices way to high. The restaurant Khunnaimae is famous for Chiang Mai food, very good. Too bad Mike in the video is eating food made for a tourist. The reason the last place was so high as it is made for a business on the ground floor with living area upstairs.
WARNING: These developers price for just the house not the land the house sits on. When it comes to signing the papers and you see the price is higher it is because they then add the price of the land.
DO NOT buy a home from a developer or project as Mike was doing. You go to the banks and find a home that has been foreclosed on. They are around 2 or 3 years old and you can get an excellent deal and do not have to pay the project every month for so called upkeep. You should be able to get the home for half of what the developers like Mike was doing wants.
    Happy house hunting.

Under Thai law if you are not a native of Thailand you cannot own the "land" and only the spouse, male or female who is native has ownership.
