- Love surfing and/or to wakesurf? Damage your new surfboard or wakesurf board? No worries - we've got you covered. In this video we'll walk you through the ding repair process step-by-step so that you get your board back on the water again. It's important to repair your surfboards so that they're water tight to ensure longevity. While you're at it, you might as well make your surfboard look good as well. It turns out with a few DIY ding repair tricks that we'll show you here, it's about the same amount of work to repair your surfboard but with a much better aesthetic outcome. Surfboards and wakesurf boards become an extension of ourselves so learn how to bring them back to life if you ding them on a rock or other hard surface while or after surfing. Timmy T actually took a tough fall on the surf board here cracking the rail necessitating a repair. In this video we use the Ding All Repair kit.

In the beginning you show the Purple Polyester repair, then at the end you show Green epoxy repair kit. which one did you use?

Can i use this to repair a twintip kiteboard?
Hi Aris - We're not sure. We've used this method to repair glass and carbon boards (different Ding repair kit for each) but haven't repaired a twin tip. Do you know what material your twin tip is made out of? What model?
