I used to buy squeak toys for the wild fox that lived in my backyard. I'd toss them in her general direction, she'd pick them up, run over to a corner and squeak them like crazy. I miss that little bugger.

He charged in there, kept Dixiedo from grabbing a toy using the classic fox "butt-block" technique, and ran off with yet another toy! 🤣 I wouldn't be surprised if Kipper became one of the dominant foxes in the yard. As for Muttias, I think he was only looking for treats. He probably thought it was a Bark Box.

i get foxys in my garden & it's wonderful seeing them - especially when the vixen bought some little grey cubs into the garden. i leave them out food at night & buy tennis balls to given them a toy. it's funny how the foxes sometimes take the tennis ball with them but they turn up in other peoples gardens later. they also take stuff from other gardens & leave it in mine - ive had a brush & shoes left on the lawn 💖💖
i so wish i could be as honoured as you are i live in a city but in winter i get occasional visit from one , i think he or she comes to see if the biscuits i leave out 24/7 for the 7 homeless cats i feed are in reach . i want to leave my gate open so foxy can fill his/her fluffy boots but ' some 'dog walkers have their dogs not on a lead and i am afraid one will burst in and hurt one of my much loved kitty friends thank you for being so loving and understanding to our fellow sentient roll models 💖💫💖
I feel like Muttias thought it was a bark box and was looking for/sniffing out the treats at the bottom. The new fur farm rescues playing warms my heart so much, I got a bit tearful watching the shy girl playing so happily. Must be a magical feeling when you seem them start to settle and enjoy life. I can't wait to see them enjoy yard time.

Watching this channel is such a stress reliever for me right now. Seeing all these foxes run around make some weird noises and play with toys makes me want one but no space nor knowledge to do so. Side note, i had no idea foxes had different colored coats. I always thought they were orange.

It really brightened my day to see them get to enjoy life. It made me tear up to see them beginning to accept their new home and enjoy enrichment toys. I didn’t realize they were so vocal and could be so socialized with people.

I almost teared up because they look so happy playing with them, and it also made me sad to think that they came from a place that never gave them anything to make them this happy before.
I could've watched the two of them for the whole 20 minutes! It's so exciting how they become more daring and realise that they're in a better place now (while still being alive luckily). Seeing their joy is so amazing and I felt like tearing up as well!

Thank you so much for this video! My dog (16 years old) is mostly blind & deaf, but he has some peripheral vision around his cataracts and can hear squeaks. I played Mikayla's video where she gives new toys to the foxes on the large TV with loud volume and held him up to the screen. He was fascinated! We had 10 minutes of fun before he lost interest. We have a family of red foxes living not far away, I love it when they come around! I love watching your rescue animals, I never realised how close to dogs their behaviour can be! About blind Archie, do you ever try to aid him on a leashed walk around the space? Just so he can feel the grass and sun and take in the smells and warmth? Just to enrich some movement?
He's likely going to take a long time to trust anyone, and especially with leaving his enclosure. Unfortunately, a leash could be the only way he goes out into fox yards. He hasn't really acknowledged treats or toys yet, since he can't see them, only smell something he doesn't recognize. I hope he at least gets braver about leaving his enclosure and being around people. It must be really hard for him to understand what's going on, let alone respond to training.
I wonder if she would consider having volunteers help her with the work load. One worker could concentrate on the blind fox so it gains trust others could clean yards etc.
It’s amazing, the difference between the heartbreaking state that these precious animals arrive in, and then what they can become once she has helped them here. How she addresses each creature as an individual, and treats them with respect. The new foxes were so sweet and their traumatized caution broke my heart, the black fox seeing the toy but being so scared, then later showing us a glimpse of what she aspires to when she was finally playing so happily. Literal tears in my eyes, man. I never knew fur farms were a thing. it’s heart wrenching how awful humans can be, and how much damage we can inflict on the world around us, the ripple effects of that cruelty, all due to greed. The polar opposite of that kind of evil is seen here, in what I would call a saint like level of goodness, a real hero that we needed yet don’t deserve. Well these foxes deserve it, and we are all so fortunate that people and places like this exist. Fox by fox, righting the wrongs of man. Thank you, for channeling your goodness into what I imagine has been a lot of work to accomplish and maintain. You’ll be the first place I call when I’m back on my feet and have money to give, this is something valiant and noble and I’m so grateful to see thriving. Yeah , they're so sweet and beautiful. How anyone could harm them is beyond me. If you want a fur coat wear faux, it looks like the real thing anyway.

About blind Archie, do you ever try to aid him on a leashed walk around the space? Just so he can feel the grass and sun and take in the smells and warmth? Just to enrich some movement?
He's likely going to take a long time to trust anyone, and especially with leaving his enclosure. Unfortunately, a leash could be the only way he goes out into fox yards. He hasn't really acknowledged treats or toys yet, since he can't see them, only smell something he doesn't recognize. I hope he at least gets braver about leaving his enclosure and being around people. It must be really hard for him to understand what's going on, let alone respond to training.
I wonder if she would consider having volunteers help her with the work load. One worker could concentrate on the blind fox so it gains trust others could clean yards etc.

It’s amazing, the difference between the heartbreaking state that these precious animals arrive in, and then what they can become once she has helped them here. How she addresses each creature as an individual, and treats them with respect. The new foxes were so sweet and their traumatized caution broke my heart, the black fox seeing the toy but being so scared, then later showing us a glimpse of what she aspires to when she was finally playing so happily. Literal tears in my eyes, man. I never knew fur farms were a thing. it’s heart wrenching how awful humans can be, and how much damage we can inflict on the world around us, the ripple effects of that cruelty, all due to greed. The polar opposite of that kind of evil is seen here, in what I would call a saint like level of goodness, a real hero that we needed yet don’t deserve. Well these foxes deserve it, and we are all so fortunate that people and places like this exist. Fox by fox, righting the wrongs of man. Thank you, for channeling your goodness into what I imagine has been a lot of work to accomplish and maintain.

It is just adorable seeing those foxes love their toys so much. Most of them are like little kids at Christmas.
