Nice work Taylor! Just to note for reference, as I don't know if anyone has mentioned this: Lake Superior Agates are very heat sensitive when it comes to grinding. Use lots of water and don't push very hard on them when sawing or grinding. You may already be aware of this. I don't know if the fractures on your stones were caused by this, but I have learned the hard way with fractures popping up when sawing, shaping and polishing them in the past.

I just found your nice channel and it caused me to dig up some marbles I bought from an old gent, a retired railroad machinist, who was a rock hound. It's really made me appreciate his skill, bless him. There's an agate marble with bands and a big "eye" that is a marvel. I have a rock crystal marble and a jasper marble. He charged five bucks apiece! He also made jewelry from broken bits of carnival glass, blue Vicks glass, all polished and set in sterling. I always visited his shop in Ft Scott, KS, his name was Mr Ralph Miller, and he was a genius.

Be aware of a couple of issues that happened to me with my 6inch cabking. The on/off button broke a small piece of metal inside the switch and would no longer turn on. You can easily replace as long as the screws that hold it to the body havent corroded. This happened within 3 months. The other thing is check your water pump to make sure it has a filter in it. Mine didnt and some small pieces of something got pumped into the water lines and had to be cleared to continue the water flow. I, eventually, had to replace my water pump. Good luck with your new toy. I love mine!

Whenever my grandson and I are out and about we always search those parking lot dividers and stone garden beds. Last week alone we came home with 4 agates and two petoskey stones. Tons of chalcedony as well. We bring our pockets with random rocks and replace the ones we find with others. My wife thinks we have lost our minds, but the finds are right there. My mother in law had her driveway area and under porch done with gravel and we found so many petosky stones. Love the new Cab machine! We are still dremeling, but have dreams of lapidary equipment lol We both get so excited when we see you have new videos!

Actually the best longest lasting machine I've ever used is an "All U Need" 8 inch flat lap with upgrade to all diamond laps. It lasted for 14 years before it didn't turn anymore it has a sealed bearing system and if you use your wheels correctly you can go 5 years before changing them and 1000's of cabs preforms for faceting and flat polishing for intarsia. It really is all you need. Good luck with your channel I can tell you enjoy it.

I'm not afraid to say I was wrong, the magnetic wall is cool. It's no chip holder, mind you. Still cool though. I'm willing to bet that the magnetic attraction goes straight through the wall and you could get a little steel disc and use that to hold a bag of chips there.
