Pick the damn thing up, replace the strings (if needed), get everything adjusted, voiced, tensioned (whatever the hell you bowed string players do - lol)...
and PLAY MUSIC!!!!!!
I didn't play French horn for well over a decade... got to realizing I had a HOLE in my heart for brass playing.
Did French horn, mastered it. Been there, done that.
So,...
Bought a great trumpet and started playing along with ANYTHING I want on RUclips. Glorious!!!!
