I always just used a length of chain link fence and a couple concrete blocks.

Me too, but this really moves it along better because it doesn’t roll over the chain link wire. I found way less passes with this setup as well. It holds more in the squares and drops it in the low and cuts the higher spots better for a more even drag.

Don’t weight it with tires, they will fill up with sand and be too heavy, blocks are better imho

Sorry for late response. I have only used it on the dirt. I personally think it would just skip a long on gravel.

You are 100% right and I apologize. I still use it and it’s awesome to use. I found in rare occasions if I want to knock down a hump I will strap a tire on top to dig in. But it truly does fine on its own and really makes the road look great. I need to work on my video reviews better and thank you for your valued input. Take care, Tony P.S.
