Love it!, very informative. I grew up in Makindu but did not know about the origin of names like Hunter's Lodge, Mbui Nzau, Mbulitini ..etc Twende has really inspired me. Speeking of Germans; The word Shule is actually German as they were the first to introduce formal secular education in The EA. Before that they were mostly exclusively religious or tribal schools but not standardized for all. you can see this in the mix for Shule and Darasa for school and class in Kiswahili. 🇰🇪 🇩🇪
