That IS important and should be addressed, being that certain types of fabric available to the public aren't the same as what they use on the articles sold on the rack.
It's becoming so discouraging to even purchase fabric because there is nothing I REALLY like and at the end of the day the price of it equals the same as if you were to just buy it on the rack.
Thank you for the video, I just wish on these videos you might tell what type of fabric you are using I love the color. I always wonder about the fabric because I can’t tell what type of fabric it is and I’m fairly new to sewing garments so it would be very helpful to know for learning what types to use. Thank you
The back of the pattern envelope always has suggested fabrics for the pattern. I find my fabrics from local or online shops like Melanated Fabrics, Joann, Mood Fabrics. I never use fabrics that are difficult to purchase. You can use any lightweight fabric. For beginners sticking to the listed fabrics on the envelope is best.
Basically this is a sewing guide but carefully reading the guide sheet and referring back to this video, you should be able to master this pattern. It is a lovely pattern❤
Hi Richy, yes sometimes but if it is just sewing from point to point then we don’t always show that. If it is a zipper or collar or something not so straightforward than yes I show it on camera while sewing. Thank you!!
I watched the pants Sew-a-Long and now the top. You are an excellent teacher. I’m so encouraged to sew this pattern.
Loved this. Great video. Nice color choice
Thank you for sharing Norris and Mimi. Love the colour and design of it...

Looks and sounds like a lightweight nylon jacketing fabric, just my guess, hard to see. I love this pattern❤
