Great content guys. Do u really think Brett is the guy to get this going. He reminds of a coach from the 70s, 80s, 90s early 2000s. Have seen Illinois beat Ohio state, Michigan and Iowa who had Chuck Long at QB. Love to hear your opinions

He struck out last year I hear jeremy spin it that it's still progress cmon let's get real it was a step back last year. Bad coaching and underperforming players

@@msully76 Been an Illinois fan since 1972. It's sad when illini fans Including myself Root for 6 wins to get too a bowl game. In 51 yrs have seen 17 bowl games. No reason we should be behind Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan St, Purdue and Iowa.

Illinois football recurting has to get better to be competitive in the conference. Its improved over the very low bar lovie set but its just hasnt been good enough especially in state.

@joeedge576 Yes I did and did u read my comment? It has improved from the Lovie years when he made the mistake of not even trying to get instate kids that's why he is on a beach with a drink in his hand. they have lost out on far too many instate kids the last 3 yrs. Last year was a step back on the field.

@@msully76 It's improved over the Lovie years... It's also improved over the Beckman years, the Zook years, the Turner years, and the Tepper years.. to return to the days of those kind of failed coaches is NOT the right answer. IMHO... No more lasagna, and no more 0-0 ties with NW... Thank you and have a nice day...

@joeedge576 I'll give you it's better than everyone but the GREAT Ron Zook my favorite illini coach of all time. Beckham was a complete joke!

@@msully76 The Zooker was flashy.. but he went: 13-23 (7-17 Big Ten) in his first 3 seasons, where his team was out scored 783-1040 (-257) ... I thought Beckham was a soccer player in the UK...
