The stock carburettor is a mikuni/micarb bs 26. Carb outlet Port is 26 mm. This carburettor has an outlet Port of 32mm. It allows more A/F R to flow into the engine. To compensate for the increased A/F ratio a pod filter has been installed. Final output is better performance and pickup.
What a beautiful bike. Actually I am also thinking about buying a 2008 avl thunderbird. But many people suggest that AVL engine is a bad idea. Plz give your suggestion.

@@AmitUP-tp2kw spares seem to be a little difficult to come by of late. But if maintained well and ridden properly it is a great bike to own.
