It was a different world back in the 50s. Would love to go back.
Yes, sometimes you want to go back to experience the atmosphere of those times.
@@VintageVista956 And the smells. Brings back memories.
Look how clean the world was, amazing.
I have a picture of me when I was 2. It was taken in December 1959 in COLOR, and it was not digitally remastered! Real 1950's! I am a mid-century guy! My memory goes back to the summer of 1960!
The 53 Studebaker takes the cake!!! Karman Gia, one of the worlds slowest sports cars in the history of mankind! But they look so cool! Austin Healy is to drool for! Ford Econoline, because everyone wants to sit between an engine. Renault Dauphine with 0-60 in about a day.
The car at the 9.50 mark is a 'singer vogue' built by the rootes group in uk circa 1963/4
Singer Vogue 1963
The car in the photo (9.59) is a 1963 Singer Vogue from the Rootes Group. An underrated and long forgotten classic. I had a 1966 Humber Sceptre Mk2 until an Italian who had never lived in the UK wrote it off during the winter of 1997. Great car, still miss it! Just one thing why don't you know that the Triumph sports car was a TR4/TR5, whilst the Austin Healey was a 3-Litre?
Thank you for the appropriate musical choices. Really sets the mood.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!
Here in Brazil, I liked your video. @@VintageVista956

Great pics,I bet the Isuzu is still running with 4 million miles on the clock😂
Thank you! Who knows, maybe this Isuzu is just starting its story with 4 million miles. 😅
Why do so many posters not use the photo they used to lure us to the video? Is not a super big deal ut it does bring us here. Why not include it in the video? Maybe they are just too stupid to figure that out.
The posters are not original, and I don’t want to use non-original photos in the video.

I Just want to put the hole lot to own if they're automatic even better still
Thanks for the comment! I'm trying to improve the quality!
P r o m o S M 💘
9 to 12 MPG was tolerable in the 1950s when gas was 27C per gallon. By the 1970s Gas was nearly 70C a gallon and these cars/land Yachts were all towed into fields and forgotten in favor of Honda Civic's that returned 33 MPG
It's really interesting how changes in gas prices have affected car choices. The evolution of technology and fuel efficiency requirements has taken its toll.
Some of the years of the cars you show here are wrong like the 1957 Ford you have listed as a 1958 Ford and the 1957 Chevy you have as a 1958 I find that very annoying if you DON"T know the year then don't put anything in there for a year that's wrong!!!! 😮 The cars you show are nice..........
Thank you for your comment! I appreciate your accuracy and will try to improve my work to avoid similar mistakes in the future.
Notice the caption says 'register'
@@glennspreeman1634 For the record, the Olds that was registered in 1962 was a 1956 Olds.
