- The Toyota Corolla GR Sport is a 'sportier' version of the Toyota Corolla, with Toyota GR elements such as badging and red stitching, plus GR branding both inside and outside.
Performance- wise, the GR Sport gets tweaked suspension and inched up wheels and lower profile tires - so overall, there are changes to the ride and handling characteristics.

This feels like an appearance package, with a little bit of handling thrown in, than a model that is truly worthy of wearing the GR badge, if I am honest.
GR Sport is different from GR. just like M Sport and M, AMG Line and AMG. It's an appearence package with some minor tweaks
@@zenyu94 Yes, they also have GR Hilux and GR Cross, so it all boils down to how much one can afford, whether it is truly worthy or not to the GR badge (another RM5k) -it is up to one's preference. Not everyone can afford a Corolla GR at RM355k!
The power package is on GR Corolla, which is a hatchback, 1.6 liter turbo with 300 horses

There are two grades: GR or GR Sport. GR Sport version is indeed not a hyped up GR, but mostly for appearance and tuned suspensions.

All the manufacturers jump on this band wagon. AMG Line, M Sport, S Line, N Line, ST Line etc etc.. it helps to sell in markets that have high insurance for new drivers who want sports appearance but can’t afford to pay for the performance. These models are the most popular over here in the UK market so manufacturers know what they are doing.
I do wonder by putting. Simulated gear shifts into their CVT if Toyota has recognised to the enthusiast it’s all about driver engagement and a traditional CVT doesn’t offer this and engineers now realise they need to add it back as a feature. When will Uncle get to send a Ioniq 5N up Genting in manual mode 😏
By now you should able to drive up and down genting with your eyes closed. No? Hahaha

Depends on what your needs are. The Mazda has a longer wheelbase and has more power but costs a bit more.

Mazda 3 uses rear torsion beam suspension setup as a cost cutting measure. I would avoid this as the ride is horrendous
