- T20 World Cup Daily, 2024, Day 20.2. Bangladesh scraped into the second stage of this tournament after a poor group stage, and had an opportunity to show that they could lift to the next level in Antigua. They didn't do it. Australia, meanwhile, produced one of the most quintessential Australia performances you can imagine. At least we saw a big snail. Henry Moeran joins Geoff Lemon.

It has been sad to see Bangladesh. They are literally at a same place in the cricketing landscape as they were in 2007. We still call their rare victories here and there as “upsets”. T20 format is at least one format which reduces the gap between sides, as Afghanistan has shown us in a remarkable fashion.
They have seemed on the verge of taking the next step for a long time now
The reason Bangladesh is terrible still is their attitudes. I remember accidentally opening Bangladesh vs India 2007 ODI CWC highlights a few months back and a guy literally wrote, this is similar to travis head shutting indians, They consider their one victory in league stages on par with a world cup winning innings, for them qualification of super 8 is the bar of success
As a Bangladeshi I do feel ashamed to see this type of gameplay, it would have been great to be bowled out at 100 with good intent rather then those brainless, skill less shit show, to be honest from fan, BCB and even our journalists most of them are emotional about cricket but they little do have any cricket education or cricket brain, getting old myself following since 1997 Bangladesh and yet we are far behind, might die without watching an ICC cup coming home. cheers!
This won't change until they change pitches back in Bangladesh. Need to prepare highways.
Im mystified at the unchanging fortunes of Bangladesh cricket. Aside from being strong at home, they are just... predictably awful everywhere else. How is there NO change to change in 30 plus yrs? Their fans are so passionate and apart from 2 players at any given time, the rest of the team is meh.
They will always struggle for resources and their players don't often get picked in franchise tournaments
His talking about the giant african snail 😂
Yes we need more teams doing better.
Agreed
Don't see things changing for Bangladesh anytime soon. They're just mediocre
Hope that isn't correct
Beautiful stuff. Bangladesh are the snail, right?
I kinda feel so sad for Scotland. They deserved to be in the super 8 instead of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh deserved that. They dominated group D.
Scotland have looked the better team but you can only play/beat what's in front of you
I just hope people instead of making fun understand that how bad it is to be a bd cricket fan all you see is lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose lose win lose lose lose lose lose lose lose
❤️
We Bangladeshis would have won the match if not for the rain and DLS
All you guys can win is rice machli
@@angshumandas5779 India , we will show you in next match ,Rishad will be man of the match and Tanzin Hassan will destroy Kholi and Rohit Sharma stumps

An A grade team playing a C grade team!
Australia is the greatest team ever to play cricket. And there is no question about it. But the problem is you guys have a very poor mentality. You guys just want to play Against teams like India England. Do you remember when the last time Australia invited Bangladesh to play test cricket in Australia. Last time Bangladesh played there was 2003 and that was their first time too. Last ODI series at Australia 2008. A T20I series ❌
So how do you guys expect us to show a better cricket. You guys Don't want to play with us. If you did Bangladesh would have improved alot.
@@Nazir_208why would anyone play with someone who got people out for broken helmets? What honour you have?
We'd love to see more Bangladesh tours
