Today’s Dystopian Rhythm podcast comes from Etym.Coming from a musical background (playing guitar and singing in bands from the age of 11), Etym has now been involved in electronic music for the last 12 years. With releases on various labels since 2008 and DJ residencies held under a different moniker, the Etym guise was created as an outlet for the darker sounds. This coincided with the start of ENTER UK which he co-founded with Sound Supply.
ENTER puts on Techno parties, Ustream broadcasts and regular Podcasts.
In the studio he combines analog and digital hardware, Instruments and Field recordings, always shying away from pre made loops and samples. Dj wise he is a purist, preferring the feel and sonic qualities of vinyl. With more releases in the pipeline for late 2013, the Etym sound is sure to keep evolving.
