I don't want to go to Disney World present day. I want to get a time machine and go to Disney World during this time.

I’m all for change when it’s for the better, but I watch this and am so sad for the amazing experiences and attractions that have gone away and not been replaced with superior products. These really were the golden years.

We met this guy in the Gideon line last week that told us about buying a fully inclusive trip back in 1983, staying at the Contemporary, tickets toK and Epcot every day and all meals for his family for $2,000. O. M. G.

Videos like this were the best part of the arrival day. Sitting on the bed watching this as Mom unpacked the suitcases just hyped up the trip.

😢 it’s so perfect… why did they have to go and ruin it. I’m lucky I grew up in a DVC family so I got to see the parks every year. But most people will never know the glory that was once Disney world…

There I was at age 6 in 1998 thinking that at 32 I’d be married. What a sad reality my life is

Tapestry Of Nations had soft openings in September 1999.
Can't help but notice they didn't really let too many women speak in this video.

Interesting that they call it "Disney Studios" in this video - I don't remember that transitional name!

I wish someone has that music video of Orlando you saw it on arrival in the airplane or on the tourist channel in circa '96 till '02.. I had it on tape but it has vanished. It was a short music video about visting Orlando you see clips of disney and universal etc and you hear singing orlando, orlando, o orlando. I hope somebody still has a copy.

This restoration looks great! Thanks for the content. Curious, didn’t test track open in March 1999? Seems like the date on this should be after that.

I was thinking the same about Kali River Rapids. That didn’t open until 1999 either.

This can't be 1998, as in 1998, dinosaur was still called countdown to extinction, it didnt change to Dinosaur until 2000 and fastpass wasn't released until 1999. RnRC didn't open until 1999 either.
