- May 23 | Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, attends a press conference in front of the Senate to discuss Big Oil’s rampant profiteering - including recent revelations about an industry leader’s efforts to collude with OPEC to artificially hike prices at the pump - and the brazen “deal” former President Trump offered fossil fuel CEOs, vowing to give them carte blanche and steamroll cost-saving clean energy wins if they spend $1 billion to propel him back to the White House.

Doesn’t matter how many wells are dug or how much oil those billionaires produce those billionaires will not not lower oil prices. Our country produces more oil than any other country so why is it that OPAC and those middle east producers set price per barrel?
The government has over 9000 permits issued for drilling that are being used and that will not motivate corporations to dig wells.
Profits drive the greedy, doesn’t matter what the consumer wants. Break up those monopolies Congress.
