As a 65yr old welder I know i'll never be a "professional" musician BUT every morning i get up at 3.30 am and get out Teds' chord chemistry. Every now and then i ALMOST start to sound a little bit like Ted LMAO . At 5.45 am... i head off to my welding gig to pay the man. I cant tell you how much i love this guy and Mickey Baker. I encourage everyone who loves this.. to go to Ted's website and maybe put a couple of bucks in the tin. His contribution to guitar playing and players is just so inspiring. I hope these videos are available for ever.

    This is simply amazing...
I love that the video has not been edited, as being able to see every part of the seminar (for example, watching Ted getting ready to play) is as close to actually being there as we can get.
Thanks for this. I'll wait for part 3!
    Warm regards,

Bless this man... so dedicated to passing on the groove. I watched this video about 3 times now before I picked up the guitar and attempted his pattern, I think besides Teds wonderful playing and sound, the man is the greatest teacher of guitar and about learning. When you are learning something new in your life , the teacher makes the difference ,, He makes a connection with you and reaches many people or he goes by everyone because he can not connect.. Wow this is so wonderful
    Thank you

i like how he talks about how much time alone/soliatary it takes to do this, he mustve spend a massive amount of time in the study given the amount of books he made

I love Pat Metheny and Pat Martino. They don't wank. They are jazz guitar icons and anyone that knows jazz will tell you that.

@skrbeleven It's a Guild but I'm not sure of the model. Ted was a big fan of Guild archtop guitars.

@1Ma9iN8tive ha ha ha like wisdom isn't ever incredible...that's why they call it wisdom...I mean you'd never consider wisdom to be less than incredible...otherwise it'd just be called credible - and Ted was waaaayyyy beyond just being credible...
