For the first question I did 190 / 40 and I got 4.75 and 4.75 is equal to 4 and 3/4. Three fourths of an hour is 45 minutes. It's been 3 year since I was in grade 5 so it's still kind of fresh. Math is also my best subject.

Then do the following: (60x30)/40
Which breaks down to: 1800/40
Which equals to: 45
Thats how you get 4 hrs & 45 minutes.
If you're going 40 miles per hour, you know it takes 4 hours to cover 160, the equation comes in to solve how long it takes to travel 30 minutes
Other way: 30/40 = 3/4 which equals 45 since 45 is 3/4 of an hour

I paused the video for the first question and tried to solve it myself. I just did 40x4 which is 160 so in 4 hours you go 160 miles but you want to go 190 miles so I did 60 divided by 40 which is 1.5 so each minute you go 1.5 miles and then I did 1.5x30 which is 45 so it’s an hour and 45 minutes
