Are you sure this is needed every few weeks? Blaze King manual states you should "limit cleaning to the face of the combustor". Apparently the combustors are very sensitive. I have read that most users will just crank up the stove to high every once in a while to burn off any deposits. Perhaps in depends on the wood you are using. I am only a keyboard warrior on blaze king as I don't have mine yet. Thanks!
I live in a high humidity environment, so typically there is more residual moisture in the wood I am burning simply due to the local climate. This results in quicker buildup on the combustor. Maybe in drier climates and wood with less moisture it would not be required as often. Cheers and good luck
