IIRC the brakes are two tiered. There are stronger pair of springs and weaker pair of springs for those brake plates.
Yes, I am excited for this one! This reel is not new... Was on Aliexpress as a long cast reel for a while. But they took it down and started selling here. But yeah I have been wanting to test this braking system. Dynamic braking can be tricky and I hope this is a good one! The CDM market needs more dynamic braking reels! It's been on Ali probably 8 to 12 months before it came over. And yes... I haven't seen any sort of casting break down. I think the way I break down a magnetic casting reel is unique at the moment... So let's see if this reel is good. Yeah I do hope this reel does well so that KK would take me off the their do not work with list.. But if it bombs... Haiii yaaaa.... Uncle Jimbo will be BANNED 4 LIFE! 😂
I only buy Kastking reels with AMB. Megajaws Elite Red, Dark Galaxy and Shallow Spool, MG12, iReel One and the Kestrel Eliete with a smilar BFS braking system, Flyout Arc Finesse (FAF)
Cool! I love Daiwa. If Kastking dynamic braking can get close to their mag force braking, I'd give it another go. I tried the Kestrel Elite and Valiant Eagle 2, they were way over braked. The KK FAF wasn't great. Shimano OG FTB braking is way better. Even Ark Gravity Control Braking is better.
I guess they only send review samples to the dudes that say the Kestrel is the best BFS reel ever 😅 You do you man, I trust your reviews. The braking system on this reel looks cool, interested in the performance.
They sent me a kestrel elite bfs reel too! But I had the balls to say it suck, which is why they are no longer showing Me love. Tate also stopped responding to my emails... So o well.. Free returns on Amazon for anything I don't like :) I hope this reel comes out good so that I can get back on their good side lol

Efficency at its best! No one wanna see me make a video fishing one lure all day and catching 50 crappies in one episode. So I split to like a dozen or so catches before I move to a next lure! One reason why I changed from traditional bass fishing to tiny lure fishing as I catch more fish lol

Salamandura SV TW 70 is better indeed. It's priced similarly as the MJE. Just a tad bit more on Ali, as you have stated. I own both Tatula SV TW 70 and Salamandura SV TW 70

I have heard they are same reel with different color and I see you mention the drag clicker on Salamandura. Wondering if drag clicker and paintjob are the only real differences. I had a couple people tell me the Salamandura is made better and had better components but that brings me back to how I got to your vid to see if it's really the case. Seems most mentions to be found say they are exactly the same. I don't care about the color probably preferring the graphite grey for looks but possibly the red to stand out easily from the crowd grabbing a rod. In general I don't like drag clickers at all I want silence when I'm fishing at least from my tackle. To me a $140-150 Salamandura svtw70 vs and identical Tatula svtw70 if Tatula is $115 and there isn't a single difference except color and clicker - a no brainer to go with the cheaper reel.
I can't confirm what the difference in the internals. but it's still a daiwa! So it'll be good regardless which one you get. i think it's a deal if you get it on ali for that price cuz it's a pretty darn good reel. The casting between the two reels were identical to me, which is why I opted for the sal since it is red and beautiful. Also get a lot more attention from ppl lol! Given inflation is up, you bet it's a better deal to go with the lower priced one :)
They said the tension knob is something “most” of us can’t set and forget….. thats a tru statement…. Not false… Most does not imply “all” and most people don’t own a Daiwa…
