I love this car, really nice paint match with the wood side panels. Ford used to say they were the "wagon masters", but this Chevy is a big challenge to that claim.
What a gorgeous wagon that's nicely loaded with very rare options, if I had the money, that would be in my possession, it looks like it should be on the set of Bewitched, can you imagine Samantha or Darrin driving that, perhaps a client of McMahon & Tate, I don't know if the Kravitz would be able to handle it, but then again, anything's possible, that would also be quite a car for a commercial for Chevy back in the day, just an absolutely gorgeous car you won't see anywhere anytime, wish they built it today!!!!
WOW This is a super wagon. I am pretty sure there is only one in the world and you have it. really good investment and a fun vehicle to buy. wish I had the cash honestly. love it.
This beauty has got to be a 1 of 1 for sure....So beautiful....This is the car all us kids dreamed the parents would come home with instead of the usual stripped down chevelle complete with the 6 cylinder and powerglide...
Wait you mean to tell me that there's another Impala station wagon (other than the '69 version I saw in a magazine a few years back) with a big block 427 motor? that's insane!
My family of five had one of those in 1970 until we got hit head on by another driver doing 95 on the Pomona highway (no center barricades back then) luckily we all survived it was a bloody mess. I'll never forget the good times in that rear back seat.

My first car was a 68 Caprice in 1981 with 63,000 miles. I believe a 305 or 7 V8. It was a good car for awhile but I think I had the wrong mechanic. Started to rust on the quarter panels but not the body. Metallic Gold with a black vinyl roof. Four door and black fabric interior with fleur de lis trim. It sparkled in the rain. Factory air with all the original hub caps. I miss her.
Is this wagon still available? I had a “65” Chrysler Newport wagon I bought from the original owner. He had it completely restored, and passed away just after. I had to be interviewed by the family before they would sell it to me. It had a 383ci, ps, pb, AC and power windows. I loved that car!! It was stolen and they totaled it and burned it. My heart was broken. That was 15yrs ago. Then I see this video and checked it out further. $74k seems a little high, is it negotiable?

Back when I was a young 'un I saw a 67 Caprice wagon with factory 4 speed at one of our DISHONEST Joe's used car dealers. 283. NO power steering, NO power brakes, NO A/C, but it was cool and rare and my mechanic threatened me with bodily harm if I bought ANY car from this rip off. I don't know whatever happened to it, but I should have bought it and just put it away. Ah, if I knew then what I know now. One of my classmate's father had a 67 Caprice wagon, but his was turbo 400, 396 but LOADED with even a few even more rare options but he didn't take care of his cars, never washed them or did oil changes or any maintenance unless he had to in order to pass state inspection. I last saw it in 1972 and it was trashed. Such a shame.
I owned a '67 Chevy Impala sedan in 1976...ONE OF THE WORST CARS EVER MADE! The "power steering" was HOPE-AND-POINT, the power brakes were like slamming into a BRICK WALL, and NOTHING to do with electricity, in the car, WORKED WELL! I HAD a '67 PLYMOUTH that was TONS BETTER AS A CAR!
