Treetops97 yeah. It's too bad. I remember playing this game so much and then it seemed to just die. There are not even that many videos of it or even this version for that matter.
Out of nowhere, this game just popped in my head and I couldn't remember if it was something that had existed or not. I searched RUclips for treasure mountain and was shocked to see that there was actually a PC game from the '90s what that name. The game play isn't exactly what I remember but it's closing off them sure it's what I was thinking of. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought that way.
I’ve been searching for this on and off for over 3 years and I’ve finally reached it. Here for the overworked music. For years the remnants that I held on to haunted me
Hits me in the feels. One time I had an intense fever when I was like 6 years old, and I remember playing this along with treasure cove for like six hours straight while feeling like I was going to die. Memories.
@@jordonveatch2503 It must be, since Richard Overton lived to be 112. That's even after he ate ice cream, and smoked cigars, _and_ still drove his 70s Ford Truck after he turned 108. I remember playing this in kindergarten that was over 20 years ago!! I never forgot the game, but I forgot what it was called and could not find it! Thanks! Nostalgia is priceless
Weird to think this is an updated, better looking than the one that I played in the Macintosh lab back in elementary school. I played the '90-'92 version I believe
I played this a long time ago in my childhood. The music and sound effects really took me back.. I had completed the game only halfway when I lost the disk. To see it completed after all these years was a real pleasure. Thanks !!
Spent a few years hunting this game down. Ended up finding it on the Wayback machine by looking through a Scholastic magazine issue from 2006. Feels good to have found it.
I used to play this, along with Treasure Cove and Treasure Mathstorm, in my elementary school years at Lewis and Clark. Out of all the games in the series, this was the only one I was able to beat.
hahaha it always made me chuckle watching how scared the elves get right before being netted. i can vividly remember this game from when i was like 6. and that was like 15 years ago
Oh my gosh the nostalgia!!! I remember playing this on the huge PC floppy disk computer in the mid 90s. Ah good times. I loved this game, even though it was a learning game it didn’t feel like it at the time. I had my son play it(who is almost 9) when he was 6 and he loved it too 😊 I wish it looked this good in the 90s lol
This beginning part of the game is all i remember. I was too little to understand how to progress the game. I just liked jumping around and running lol
Oh my god I've been thinking about this game for years now but couldn't find anything on it due to misremembering it. The moment the music started playing I instantly recognized it.
I've never seen this version before! I played the old MS-DOS version. It looks like they replaced all the music, which is unfortunate as the original soundtrack really started me out on my love of classical music. I played another Learning Company game from the 96/97 era with graphics like this that look place in a car workshop...
In grade 4 we had an after school extra mural called computers where we could just fuck around on the school computers 😂 back then it was a big deal to have access to Internet and stuff. We played this game alot there! Along with pinball and neopets
Oh my. I haven't played this in probably 20 years, and the only reason I remember this game at all is the song at 7:22 randomly popped in my head from time to time.
I too felt like I was going crazy because I was so sure this game existed but couldn't for the life of me find it. Today my brother helped me nail it down and am so glad I now have proof it's actually real lol maybe the theme music can stop haunting me now
About the tunnel at 8:49, in the DOS version it was a cave that was one-way and had a hole at the back that made the player fall into the tunnel on Level 2. What made them change that when this game was redone for Windows?
I suppose this is the version I had but on Macintosh if nothing's different other than the platform. Funnily enough Treasure Mathstorm has a number of different versions, the Mac version I had has no footage that I've seen on RUclips but maybe I didn't look hard enough.
You will need to find an emulator or a virtual machine to download with the appropriate OS installed. I can't tell you where to get the older OS systems but if you have a copy of it you can use that to install it through the virtual machine.
Okay...they had an updated version? I mean, I love that they read to you and all...but just making that flipping sound over and over? I’ve got to go back to Bach music 😂

Super Seeker… YOU are the one who can set things right! Search the mountain to find the treasures and bring them back to the castle! Once the treasure chest is filled, you will win back the crown and save Treasure Mountain!”
I thought I dreamt this game's existence. Nobody ever talks about it.
Treetops97 yeah. It's too bad. I remember playing this game so much and then it seemed to just die. There are not even that many videos of it or even this version for that matter.
That seems the case for a _lot_ of the Super Solvers series.
Nope, me and my cousin used to play this shit for hours! Lol.
Underrated classic.

So accurate!!
No idea why they put such intense effort into the music lol
Same, it was killing me, every now and then I'd go "wtf was that game with leprechauns"
Hits me in the feels. One time I had an intense fever when I was like 6 years old, and I remember playing this along with treasure cove for like six hours straight while feeling like I was going to die. Memories.
Treasure cove!
The ladder-climbing section where the villain lunges at you through the windows always freaked me the fuck out as a kid, lmao
Yeah, it scared me so badly that I ejected the CD from the disk drive. Got the blue screen of death.
saaaame
😂😂😂😂😂
Man. This was my game back in kindergarten. So much fun
Erin Speed
My favorite animals are bats. Don't you have any favorite animal?
This game was awesome
I have been searching for this game for over a decade... I can finally die in peace.
OMG! I haven't seen this in YEARS!
Man o man. The nostalgic feelings flooding in...is nostalgia even good for health?
Oh are you kidding?? It brings happiness and happiness is the key to good health!

Still got goose bumps just watching you play this my child hood late 90s time fly by so fast!
Weird to think this is an updated, better looking than the one that I played in the Macintosh lab back in elementary school. I played the '90-'92 version I believe

Oh God what an unlocked memory. All the sounds are coming back to me 🥲
This game has stuck with me longer than most games, all these years later
Oooooooooh, just the Learning Company intro gave me so much nostalgia.
The sound effects and background music from this game constantly live in my head
I used to play this, along with Treasure Cove and Treasure Mathstorm, in my elementary school years at Lewis and Clark. Out of all the games in the series, this was the only one I was able to beat.
this was my childhood, so lit
haha i remember when i was too lazy to get him to walk i would flip him everywhere 😂
Talk about blast from my past!!! First videogame I think Ive ever played a part from Ninja Turtles.
The nostalgia hurts so bad.
So happy to see this again after so many years! I actually wish I could play this again somehow. Great memories!

hahaha it always made me chuckle watching how scared the elves get right before being netted. i can vividly remember this game from when i was like 6. and that was like 15 years ago
Oh man ive been searching for this game for a while now. Its so nostalgic for me. I loved playing this when i was little.
The look of terror on the elves’ faces when you net them.
Haha bagging them elves
I always played the 1994 version of this game. I never knew they had an updated version of that version.
Cameron Ely played the 1990 version myself my grandpa bought it for me. This ones graphics are so different. It loses a bit of the magic
I thought i was going insane! Ive been trying to figure out what this game was for YEARS! I've finally found it!
Oh my gosh the nostalgia!!! I remember playing this on the huge PC floppy disk computer in the mid 90s. Ah good times. I loved this game, even though it was a learning game it didn’t feel like it at the time. I had my son play it(who is almost 9) when he was 6 and he loved it too 😊

I grew up on this computer game.
Instantly transported back to a time where I was rewarded for using my imagination.
THIS IS IT!!! I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR YEARS
I remember being stuck in a loop in this game when I was a kid and I'm now just realizing it was because I hadn't learned to read yet.
This was the treasure mountain I played the most. Still not sure why I loved it so much as a kid.
My childhood :D Love those sfx and music!
Unlocked a memory I’d forgotten…
I had NO IDEA this existed.
I can't wait to play it. I was born in 1984 btw lol
Oh my god I've been thinking about this game for years now but couldn't find anything on it due to misremembering it. The moment the music started playing I instantly recognized it.
Very good job fellows!! Congratulations.
Tubular computer game dudes and it brings back educational memories.
I wish I could play this game again, this brings back so many memories.
This is like the one game we had on computer when I was in elementary school.
THANK GOODNESS I FINALLY FOUND THIS GAME AGAIN IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YEARS! Core memory! Might have even been my first “video game”
That flip sound is so nostalgic
I've never seen this version before! I played the old MS-DOS version. I must give this game credit for teaching me half the knowlege I know today!
I've been searching for so long! 😅
I don’t know why but the dude climbing the tree ladder was stuck in my head for so long. Couldn’t think of the name of this game!
is the OST for this version, the 1996 version - up anywhere?
In grade 4 we had an after school extra mural called computers where we could just fuck around on the school computers 😂 back then it was a big deal to have access to Internet and stuff. We played this game alot there! Along with pinball and neopets

I too felt like I was going crazy because I was so sure this game existed but couldn't for the life of me find it. Today my brother helped me nail it down and am so glad I now have proof it's actually real lol maybe the theme music can stop haunting me now
this game was the best as a kid
Where did you find this version? I can't seem to find a listing for anything but the 1990 version.
This was my first computer game as a kid
Wow so many memorys and so trippy
About the tunnel at 8:49, in the DOS version it was a cave that was one-way and had a hole at the back that made the player fall into the tunnel on Level 2. What made them change that when this game was redone for Windows?
I once got over 1000 treasures, then the computer I had it on broke and I lost the data
Oh wow, i didn't know they remade this.
the nostalgia. omg
MAKE A MOBILE PORT PLLLLZ!!
ahh my childhood
That looks great!
I suppose this is the version I had but on Macintosh if nothing's different other than the platform. Funnily enough Treasure Mathstorm has a number of different versions, the Mac version I had has no footage that I've seen on RUclips but maybe I didn't look hard enough.
Whoa they updated the graphics! Never saw this version
Omg I played the math one at school but I wish they had this one too! So cutee
4:06 That's to skip that long wait as he struggles for an answer.
took him a full 30 seconds to get the wrong answer lmao
Never knee there was a Windows version. Only ever played the DOS original.
I had the Tandi 286 version on 3.5" floppy, I loved that game. I wonder if I can get my son into this one when he turns 5.
06:19 Snow Flake Man
The game has predicted our present society
I had the original version that came out in 90 or 91. I downloaded the DOS version rom and I can play with with DOSBOX.
been looking for this game again for a while lmao. too bad all the jumping is super annoying
I ❤️ this game so much
Is there a way to play all these retro games on modern computers?
You will need to find an emulator or a virtual machine to download with the appropriate OS installed. I can't tell you where to get the older OS systems but if you have a copy of it you can use that to install it through the virtual machine.
I remember the game having snow though, what happened to those?
That would be a different one called, "Treasure MathStorm!".
I remember my 8 year old self pwning some noobage here then tea bagging that old fool at the end
Where can I find this game? This is making me wanna play I miss it!
Okay...they had an updated version? I mean, I love that they read to you and all...but just making that flipping sound over and over? I’ve got to go back to Bach music 😂
Omgggg first grade back in 2003
I still have the game but it doesn't work on any modern computer with a disc drive sadly
holy fucking nostalgia
There’s a Windows’ version? OMG it’s like a remaster of the DOS version, except the atmosphere is worse.

They reused much of the art in this for Treasure Mathstorm, I'll bet. Just drew some snow on top of the linework. Same animations, too.
4:05. Really boy? "The fly sneezed"? xD
That first question was confusing wow.
Weird thing since I am running it on windows me. it said it had compability issues so I have this but with a dos version.
hey they did remaster Treasure Mountain
Anyone know how to get this to run, I tried using DosBox but it won't load.
You can try using Virtual PC, VMWare, or VirtualBox.
What happens if elves throw dust at you? Goobies in Treasure Cove suck light energy, Snow Bullies in Treasure Mathstorm suck coins.
Elves steal coins.
i use to play this in catholic school
