There is no better community or like minded traders than Carmine’s site. Hands down. So many helpful people in addition to Carmine and his partner Dylan. Awesome service!!!!
I recently contacted RH and verified that you could have a cash account. (not sure if trading options is permitted on cash acct as i didnt ask that specifically) But due to T2 rule, i decided not to change it anyways. With TDA, i initially opened a cash acct (
Great vid as usual Carmine, keen to tuck into your course! I've recently been playing bounces off s/d for quick 15-30 minute trades and I've been struggling identifying my exit price (when vwap is too close and there are no nearby s/d exit points). In the BA example @ 15.00 you don't show any exit price - when do you know to exit?
Thank you sir. If possible would you be able to consider naming another video on how to set up supply and demand zones. There’s so many videos on RUclips not sure if it’s the way you do it. Maybe cover - how to set up supply/demand pre market and how to identify zones as they change intraday? Thanks as always!
I am in Australia and trying to figure out how to trade options. I have no idea if the PDT rule applies to me or how I should go about finding a suitable broker here. I looked up your course and it’s seems like just what I need but I am worried it will not be able to be used here or if there will be info on how I go about finding out where to start here
I am practicing on paper money ameritrade. Only thing confusing me right now is I mouse over that green Buy MKT. It then highlights a box in the active trader window. Then when I go to press the button to buy at the spot it is highlighting it then say oh you bought it for 2 dollars more than where we showed you were buying it at. Do I have a setting wrong on this thing cause if it did this when I move to a real account it would wipe me out. I am just trying to buy in and get a few cents above where i thought i was buying at and get out just to practice. And the point I thought i was getting in at it moved up a dollar on this stock I am practicing but I still lost money for some reason!!?!?!? I think the Buy MKT button is set up to buy stock and not options how do I change that
Do you get a lot of sluggishness and lag in thinkorswim when live trading; level 2, time and sales, active trader, 2 charts etc. all going at the same time? If I have level 2 with time and sales going full speed, the crosshairs lags terribly behind my mouse and everything is slow, like zooming into areas of the chart. I've tried everything to get it running faster and smoother, but it seems like the platform needs an overhaul. Webull runs fast and smooth with no lag while leve 2 and time and sales are going, but it's a much lighter standalone program, requiring much less resources. Webull froze for a few minutes last week though, not just me, everyone. I just happened to be in the middle of a WKHS option scalp. Talk about scary lol.
I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
Your problem could be your stop loss is too close or you're watching your trades too much. Place it and walk away. Or you could just give up, trading isn't for everyone.
@@linasmith5933 Don't listen to her, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everyday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later .
@@eduardocosta-vf5tm You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?
@@kendrickmaslow3085 I know of one lady though, she is not a mentor per-se, but she is freakishly good at trading. From what I've gathered she used to work for a proprietary firm till she retired. Met her at one of those conferences, got to know her and we exchanged emails. Since she helped me, I've been making about $1000 bi-weekly. What I'm trying to say is the 5% of traders in the world that are consistently profitable are not on RUclips, they are just random/lowkey people no one even expects . Her name was Laura woods by the way.
@@eduardocosta-vf5tm I think I have seen this name on a trading forum before, on discord one time, is she really that good ? And how may I contact her if that isn't too much to ask.
IMO, markets should not be 100% viewed as supply and demand. There is the missing link of market makers. Most people don’t seem to realize the market maker is taking the other side of all these trades and he has to liquidate it in the opposite direction to close himself out. I hate when people talk about the buyers and sellers. That’s not how it works. Smart people don’t buy up moves. They buy down moves. For example, the BA trade you reference in this video. All that buy volume at the open is a big short position for the MM, now he is going to take it down to buy back all those short positions he took below his average price on all those shares. Then when it’s a trend day which MM’s hate, you get lots of consolidations so they can bring up these average price and scale out of their positions easier.
This a huge/excellent information. At one point I remember when I started trading options, one of the challenges I had at that time was selecting between the Bid & Ask ( as Calls & Puts) took me a while to understand the process. But with dedication, paper trading, and having confidence I did learn it. Carmine - do you have information on that It will for the newbies who are starting. Tks as always.
Should have mentioned LIGHTSPEED trading. Surprised you didn't. TOS is garbage compared to direct access broker. System is subject to crashes and lag. Trash. Charts don't make the difference. Speed of execution does. ZERO commission brokers? You can keep that.
Do you trade the small caps with low float? Also can you do a video on low floats and how to draw the supply and demand? Some are pump and dumps; wondering if I should only care about intraday zones instead of previous days.
mans out here casually changing lives, cant wait to join the community
Appreciate that !

As always, I appreciate your support Steven !
You are like the only person on RUclips who talks about supply and demand stock options trading. Thats how I know you're legit cause you are different
Its how the market moves!
you are the best educator about day trading I have found on RUclips so far thanks a lot

VWAP, next supply/demand zone, next support resistance, or if new demand or new supply starts to be forming and i will exit out of speculation
Hi, can share your trading journal excel spread sheet? The link shared is no longer work
Hi Carmine! Loved the video very new to trading and was wondering if you still have the spreadsheet journal available?

Hey Carmine! Is the spreadsheet journal still available to download? I clicked on the link, but the file was not available.

You may have delayed data on paper trade! Delayed data shows delayed charts, but quotes are in realtime !
Thank you bro

I dont do small caps. But supply/demand is what moves price in any market, so will definitely work
