I'm 28, I've recently realized I gave up on music being a serious thing years ago. Now I'm watching you, just last night I was talking to my wife about this. Thing is, I don't know music. I have gotten "rusty" Obviously I can work on that and improve. The question I have for you is, where would you recommend I go from here. I want to be able to sight read, I want to improve my skills themselves on guitar, bass guitar, and vocally, but I need to know what you think is a good point I should start from with the music theory side of things. Any input is greatly appreciated. You're inspiration. Not just inspiring but, inspiration.
You're always auditioning! that hits me like a truck, man. I'm always in a great mindset for gigs but rehearsals welllllll... I have to work on that from now! Also getting on time to rehearsals and gigs is another skills that musicians need to understand! And respecting the dress codes for certain venues!!! it also make people q.o.q. "talk about you and start calling you" Man, I'm really enjoying your channel. Thanks for sharing!!
Hey I’m currently a high school senior I have a passion in music I play trumpet, I specifically love Jazz, but I want to be financially stable so It’s between that and pharmacy, do you have any thoughts on this? Can I really make money in Music or is a 1 in a million chance
Paul Gavin Wow honestly I haven’t heard anyone word it the way you have in that response. It is just like every other profession and I’d be doing something I absolutely love. Honestly, I would love to sit in a practice room and rehearse and get really really good to perform. And plus there is nothing like being on a stage and sharing the passion I have. Thank you I appreciate you’re response it helps a lot
I recently found out about your videos and and I'm a senior in highschool and a drummer and I would also like to go to college for music production and learn more about music in general
