fabulous work my friend. You make it look very easy, but I know it isn't. a lot practice has gone into making it look so effortless. well done and thanks for inspiring🙂 others.
Thank you for sharing New video with us. I am a great Fan of your work and Really like this format, which is not speed-up :) Fantastic work 👏 and Greetings from Slovenia .
In an industry now dominated by CAD and casting, it’s such a treat to see such masterful fabrication 👏 I have yet to attempt this kind of engraving, but your work makes me really want to try!
Great video it looks little like you are using old burs ( with the yellow stripes) for gravers. Can you please tell me what brand (kind of metal ) they are? Thanks
I notice you have both the grs units and a Lindsay with a collet nose system. Are you able to tell me please if the grs collets actually fit into the Lindsay palm control with the collet nose? I have grs and am about to purchase a Lindsay and it would be handy to know if they are compatible. The information is impossible to find though. Many thanks and great work!😊
Hahaha you spotted it. No I just have both next to my bench and turned them both on. I have the Lindsay regulator mounted to the side of the G8 to save room
Improvising to create best possible result always best avenue to achieve great results. Somewhat in parallel with painters, a true artist may even use their fingers to create art. It worked with this piece, greatly.
The expertise courage and talent required to do this with such a valuable metal and an up close camera blows my mind
Thanks:)

Gorgeous work! Wow! I love the way you filmed and edited this video too. The magnified, real-time views are awesome to watch.
Wow that’s a stunningly beautiful ring & to watch you fabricate it was really cool. Thank you!
Thank you:)

Fantastic!!!
I've never seen a Lindsey Classic or palm control hooked up to a GRS. Nice work!
It's not, just a bit of fun to confuse the real engravers out there:)

Sure, I use old carbide burrs. Anything I have to hand but usually Busch
Excellent stuff. Shows every stage clearly (although it probably helps if the viewer knows what they're looking at...).
Thanks Peter:) hopefully some people will find it interesting/useful.
I’m tryna get like you big dog 👏

The collets are shorter on the Lindsay you need to use a little adapter (Steve sells them) to use the grs
@@ashcroftjewellery many thanks for answering my question! Very much appreciated and once again beautiful job!
Muito bonito Parabéns.
Excellent work. What is that tool that you are using at the beginning just after putting the ring on the chuck?
The one I use to mark out the spacing? It's part of the RinGenie set. www.hswalsh.com/product/ringenie%E2%84%A2-tb996001
Absolutely stunning ring you handcrafted there.
Was hoping you'd be using a hand push graver as im just learning.
You can absolutely do the same with hand push, it just takes a bit longer.
Excellent work! Are you using a Lindsay hand piece with a graver max? I didn't know that was an option.
Hahaha you spotted it. No I just have both next to my bench and turned them both on. I have the Lindsay regulator mounted to the side of the G8 to save room
What angle graver are you using? 105?
@@BrotherEsau-c2l I just sharpen by eye so I'm not sure exactly but around there is about right 👍
Подскажите, почему вы на видео включаете инструмент GRS а работаете ручкой Стива?

Pues hay te la rifas😅
What did you start doing at 7:12?
Burnishing, start of the polishing process.
@@ashcroftjewellery aha, is that like smoothing the metal instead of removing material?
@@sirspikey yep
@@Vorcript aa got it thanks :)

Besutiful! but sometimes sounded like dentisit😖
