As someone who lives on the Olympic Peninsula, I agree "it's magical". Great job, NatGeo!
Gorgeous forest and beautiful to see these two passionate experts appreciating the environment and each other's knowledge and skill.
Love this! Very cool seeing my backyard on National Geographic!
Nicely done! One of the best times of the year to live here! Heading on on a fungi foray next weekend!
I really wish this one had been longer. I could watch foraging videos all day
Wow! Riding through the forest, eating a delicious meal and appreciating the nature . . .
What else could I need?
It's perfect 👌
National Geographic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really love this series its so nice!👍🏻
I’m really enjoying this season. As I am from Washington state myself learning about the edible plants like sorel too forage and add to my backpacking meals.
that congee looks beautiful and delicious. very cool video
I feel so blessed to live in Washington state where I was born and raised. Being an actual native here feels very special. I go camping a few times a year in the Olympic national forest, The 101 has a beautiful lake called Lake Crescent it is one of the cleanest most fresh water lakes you’ll ever encounter. Fair homes campground is right on the lake highly recommend checking out if you haven’t been. About 30 minutes up the road further on the 101 is a Hot Springs called Sol Duck, also highly recommend checking that place out where can you catch up on a nice shower and they have wonderful hikes all around.
That is a beautiful dish
This Forest is what made me move to the Olympic peninsula. Whist a great video and the final dish looks amazing.
Wow, *magic is beonde what we can see*, the Ladies are so inspirativ together, exceptional series, Thank you so much NG ! 🍀🍀🙏🙏
The air is so fresh on the Olympic peninsula.
One of my favorite documentaries is fantastic fungi! It will change the way you see the earth around you
They had amazing chemistry - more more more!
Was just in the Hoh rainforest and found tons of oysters, chicken of the woods, and coral tooth fungus! Truly a magical place
There is nothing, and I mean nothing like witnessing the wonder and majesty of a stand of truly old growth forest out here on the Olympic Peninsula. It is a cathedral of thick mossy greens filled with cool mist and lush earthen smells. I feel blessed every day to live on the doorstep of this earthly paradise. Absolutely my favorite place in the world. If you come visit please tread lightly, there are delicate flora and fauna everywhere you look and step. Never ever EVER leave garbage behind of any kind, ALWAYS pick it in pack it out. And please do use proper toilets when available or dig a cat hole 6-8 inches deep and at least 200 feet away from water sources or campsites, burry ur #2 and TP.
The Olympic Peninsula is a national treasure to be preserved for all to enjoy responsibly for generations to come.
Oh and that dish looks AMAZING! I’m not the biggest fan of eating mushrooms but I’d def chow on that bowl of goodness! I’m gunna have to try a dish with some wood sorrel. Beautiful and delicious!
Thank you! ❤️🌲
This was a Mazda commercial 🤣 disguised as a show
I stayed a few mile away from the Olympic national forest boarders. Near lake crescent. It's beautiful up around the whole Olympic national forest area. Some old timers say there is bigfoot out there. Says they come down out of the mountain during only the heaviest of snow. It gets allot of snow there. The area we were at must have gotten 3 to 4 feet of snow in a weekends time frame. Covered the outside picnic table and needed to push the snow when opening our door on our class A RV. The door is off the ground quiet a bit. But so beautiful out there.

Very interesting
Perfect team 🤞
@b 11:00 where did the bicycles go???
@outdoorcheflife would love you to cook with her
I can never watch people cavorting in the woods without wondering what bears or cougar are tracking them and how many near misses they have had with predators that weren’t detected. I’ve been ruined by bear and cougar attack stories.
After hours of hiking around the Olympic Peninsula you only found a handful of oyster mushrooms...????
Wonderful subject, good story.
Too much disney
It is legal to forage in Olympic NP?
The King is coming...
Are you saved?
I bet these two really love eating eachother oysters......mushrooms
Such a corny advertisement for Mazda
I live there!! I love hiking HOH its beautiful.
Odd how the first edible mushrooms they talk about are oysters and then shows her picking clearly not oysters. Eeek
A bit wokey pokey
how is it 'woke'?
Yeah reconnecting to earth and the source of nutrition is so woke... 🤪
First!
lol come on, you barely found or harvested anything
If you go to a national park, do not forage anything. Its illegal.
anyone else feel like their dialogues forced followed by awkward laughs? didn't seem organic..
No. Just you.
Yea it was pretty cheesey. it reminded me of California college interns out in the Olympics. Lol we don't act that proper out in the woods. But hey it's for tv
ah so this is what Les meant when he said theres copy cat shows poping up
I am an expert at mushroom hunting and the best way to cook them is with meat, preferably beef or rabbit
