I’m thinking crustacean type Pokémon are either really good with a bad ability like golisopod, or like Klawf with no evolution weird states and an amazing ability.
4:01 people dont know indeedee is kinda fast because indeedee has 2 different stat sets and 1 of them comes with a lower base speed stat. thats the one I use for my trick room team
One thing I love to do with Klawf is give it a recovery berry or a shell bell to bring the go back up and above the threshold so that if it drops down on HP it gains another round of Anger Shell

Honestly there is a huge portion of the playbase that came back to the competitive scene through Showdown and haven’t played a mainline game in years. If the battle mechanic isn’t outright explained to you and is only in-effect once out of every 50 games (some of which priority doesn’t even factor in), it’s very easy to forget. Think of how much new stuff gets added or tweaked over the years

u mentioned trying a hypnosis/dream eater build and i gotta say i think it'd be cool to see u try and get a team going running a build that'd synergize around that. i always liked rest + sleep talk and hypnosis + dream eater builds

u should try lokix it's one of my favorite mons with an INCREDIBLE shiny(mine is named bamboozler) plus tinted lens sucker punch which can ohko a good amount of tera fairy flutter manes with tera dark choice band band would unfortunately mean you'd lose out on first impression unless you were hard switching every time but it's a fun mon regardless
Didn’t you have Terra flying on klawf? Curious why you didn’t go into it against the choiced flygon just in case it was faster to avoid the earthquake. Great matches either way!
Klawf is one of my favourite new Pokémon in paldea and was one of the most fun members of my run through. I just think it needs shell smash and it bothers me they didn’t give it shell smash. Imagine a pure rock type able to get a plus 3 speed attack and special attack. Anyway this is how I use it too, I go for sword dance trailblaze rock slide (for flinches and stab boosts it anyway) and high horsepower

My set was similar, but I chose rock slide over stone edge for its better accuracy and chance to flinch. I also ran crab hammer over trail blaze because I play doubles and had a tail wind setter right next to my Klawf. Speaking of doubles.... Day 22 of asking Haydunn for doubles content 👀
I feel like an assault vest clawf with someone to set up sandstorms(tytar) would make him a feared (yet gimmicky) opponent. Might be better in doubles. Anyways great video

I had Klawf as my partner throughout my journey. Even tho He's the weakest one in my team. I still do respect him to be part of my team. I love the design and ability. I'm glad i have a good Rock type pokemon on my team.

PLEASE try this out with a salac berry and endure/reversal(tera fighting). Been using indeedee also to get the terrain up and negate priority. One SD on a good switch in, then endure and reversal at +3 and 1 hp practically obliterates anything
What confuses me is how did they forget that Mach is blocked by Psychic terrain, despite already using it in the same battle and seeing that it didn’t work before 😂😂

I honestly think that Klawf does have an interesting ability but its typing and stat total of 450 is lacking.
450 is relatively decent. i say anything below 380 is bad
