- I think it's no surprise everyone, Battlefield 2042's Launch is incredibly bad. Tons of missing features from the game, tons of game-breaking and visual bugs, and of course, back end problems that prevent players from accessing the game. EA and DICE's lies have consequences, and this rant is just the tip of the iceberg. Thank you for watching, and see you in the Gaming Zone.

I completely agree with you,you are exactly on point. I really got dissapointed and actually got put off from buying even because of portal because it might be fun and nostalgic,but its still buggy and lacking a LOT of content,it just feels quickly slapped together and unfinished, the main game the 2042 itself is just another dumpster fire made by developers who just wish for money and quickly develope some frankenstein,buggy game to make profit and quick cashgrab instead a good product that satisfy gamers. Its quite sad,i actually play none of new games because the gaming industry product quality in general had dropped significantly last couple of years,specially with battlefield,so much wasted potential just because of greed and obsesison with making loads of money asap! I rather still play old bfs and still enjoy the heck out of them.
It's always about greed man, money drives the industry to rush everything and drop a steaming load of trash for players who just want a proper polished game. Even with Portal, 10% of the original games is not enough for me. Main mode is truly said trash, instead of upgrading the previous games from 2011/2013, they just decided to enhance the utter failure Battlefield V, but at the same time remove more than half the features from it. It's incredible how 3 years of development time led to such a disappointment. Thank you for the feedback mate, very appreciated :D
The worst part of 2042 will always be the specialists
And that's just the tip of the iceberg of 2042's problems really. Tons of features from previous games gone, Hazard Zone being an uninspired mess that is now dead, and horrible performance issues just makes this game an incredible mess to marvel at. Let's see how this Pseudo-DICE will fix this mess, really interested to see if it will last a year or not. Thanks for the comment :)
Battlefield 4 was and will be THE LAST GOOD BATTLEFIELD GAME. Change my mind.
Battlefield 1 was better imo
@@mmkw5621 Even Battlefield V is better than 2042. And mind you, that was the worst entry in the franchise yet lol.
From gameplay standpoint, Battlefield 4 is still the superior game. Visual-wise, World War 1 entry wins this contest :)

I personally prefer BF3 over BF4.
But what I really wanted was a straightforward BF2/3/4 remake ― with all the existing content, and much more down the pipeline.

Oh man only now I noticed that, and this bug was in the Beta as well. This game for real is a rushed mess just to meet a schedule.

I knew it would suck from that first trailer. Focusing on “battlefield moments” rather than squad based tactical military gameplay.
They literally made an entire game based around unique clip-able moments. Those are supposed to happen on occasion. That’s what makes them special.
That and hot topic squirrel girl is super cringe
You make perfect sense. They are turning our beloved Battlefield into Call of Duty. Battlefield is dead, now all future Battlefield games will feel like COD gameplay. Dice/EA did this for marketing issues to get all COD gamers on the Battlefield title. I played this game for a few hours, and it was the maps where so boring and pretty much all the same. I put the disc back into the case and sold it on ebay, and sold it for more than I purchased it for. Face it, Battlefield will never be the same. Sad day for us. ='(
Pains to say this, but it's true. DICE completely lost it's way, and don't listen to any community feedback at all. Reinventing the wheel every time, and its getting worse and worse with each release. Truly a sad year for Battlefield community, a complete downgrade of what used to be an awesome sandbox experience. @@princesofthepower3690 Not surprised in slightest that "Game Changers" are pushing the title even if it's in such a state. Money must be earned somehow. And I used to hate Battlefield V for ruining the franchise. This one is even worse than previous entry.
Anybody remember medal of honor? No? Me neither.

2042 be like: its time we downgrade everything this franchise had and add mobile type battleroyale but with data extraction instead
this game is such a fat L to the community Im not even laughing when saying its the worst battlefield released yet. why did I even care about this trash in the first place :\
bf4 from 2013 destroys this dissapointment by simply existing
The sad part is, now, one month later you just know this game will not evel outlive BFV or even BF1 and die probably in the end of 2022. They do not care anymore or dont know how to make BFgames anymore but I dont care which it is, because in the end of the day I burned my money and now we have a bad game.
This game could have been the game of the year, especially with Portal baked into the game but they decided to get that 6th worst reviewed game on steam a few days after release.
Truly a shame man, as it could've been the redemption arc after the disaster that was Battlefield V. People spent up to 120$ for this rushed disaster, only for it to rot away because of issues that could've been polished given a little more time. Electronic Arts at its finest, dropping a steaming load of trash to meet some quotas. Nostalgia factor saved this game for a little bit, but without progression and XP, what's the point in playing Portal? Battlefield 2042 is just wasted potential, and it's a shame to see this franchise hit the rock bottom :\

@@ChrisTGamingZone I've been saying it for a month, this game could've been the game of the year of it was released in fall of 2022. I have been waiting for a new modern warfare Battlefield for years and then we get this. Last Battlefield I have ever purchased, but most likely last Battlefield that is ever produced.
12 months, that's it.
DICE will cancel the project then and move on to the 2023 project.
And believe me, if you didn't already give up on Battlefield this year, we will all definitely abandon Battlefield in 2023.
That toy penguin playercard we just got will make a lot of sense in 2 years . . . Anybody ever hear of an entry called _Battlefield: Heroes_ by the way?
