- Quick (not really) thoughts on the books I read in September, the books I want to read in October, and some brief (not really) channel updates and stats.
It's not too late to join the Hardy's Books buddy read of Johnathan Strange & Mr. Norell!:

Monstrillio sounds like a wild read. Glad to hear you had a good reading month!
Quality over quantity
First time visitor, just subscribed. :) I'm dabbling with the idea of creating my own channel, so I appreciate the updates on your channel growth and plans! I also like board games, so excited to see where you go with board game content.
Hello! Do it do it do it! I put it off for months but it has been super fun - highly recommend. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I’m obviously very new but happy to help out in any way I can.
Wasn’t sure if the stats were something anyone would like so I’m glad to get some positive feedback on them. I’ll keep including them.
I'm actually teaching about the Black Death this week and Between Two Fires sounds amazing! I might have need to add that to the list.
That’s perfect!
On Dragon Rider to me, it's an an adult novel that nails the PoV of a teenage boy and maybe that's why it came off YA. I think many times young protagonists in adult novels come office more adult in their pov than they should.
Yeah I had that thought while reading it too! I think it’s a good observation and very likely the case here.
Your videos are such a good time! I've had Monstrillio on my TBR since another channel I enjoy rated it highly. I've read the first couple of pages online and it sounds great.
Unlike much I’ve read before honestly. I can’t say for certain that it’s for everyone but I sure did love it.

If you want cosy and spooky Gallant by V E Schwab and Nettle and Bone
Love Nettle and Bone - I should definitely pick up Gallant!
@@charlie-read-a-book yes you should. I'm planning on reading it after Nettle and Bone.
Ooh maybe I’ll join you
