      The quality of both meats is good. Personally, I like Nikuya Yokocho Shibuya Udagawa because it is available for one person, you can see and choose the meat, and there is a full drink bar. If you want to eat a lot of meat, I recommend Takeda. I have a lot of time because I don't have to go get the meat. I think you can eat quite a lot of meat in Takeda within the time.

    • @aya_food_adventures
      @aya_food_adventures  10 месяцев назад

      I would recommend Nikuya Yokocho. The price is high, but you can see the meat and choose your own.
      I am editing another all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant, which is not scheduled to be distributed yet.
      This restaurant is the same as Nikuya Yokocho, where you can choose your own meat from a showcase. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the meat is as good as at Nikuya Yokocho. The only difference is that the variety of meat you can choose from is less than at Nikuya Yokocho.
      Nikuya Yokocho is the best of the three all-you-can-eat barbecue restaurants in my opinion.

    I do not understand why tongue is so popular in Japan (and Thailand). To me, it has a "crunchy" texture and not too much flavor. As I have been living in the US for 40 years, tongue for yakiniku or any other types of internal organs are almost unheard of for American bbq (except for livers).

    • @aya_food_adventures
      @aya_food_adventures  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment.
      I think tongue is very much a matter of likes and dislikes. I think most people like the crispy texture. I also like the light taste and eat it with sauce.
      By the way, beef tongue is famous in Sendai, Japan.

    Aya san, thank you for your recommendation, BUT this store is horrible! I went with my family of 3, the wagyu is only for the 1st round of sp called jewel box subsequent meats r so sub par and service staff are pretty rude. They are all foreigners.
    All the beef are so fatty that 3/4 are literally FATs!
    I will NOT recommend at all

    • @aya_food_adventures
      @aya_food_adventures  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the comment. Wagyu jewel box is indeed offered only once in each course.
      The quality of meat that can then be ordered may vary. Some of the meat was fatty, but others were of good quality, such as the A5 wagyu beef ribs and large loin I chose. The waiter was South East Asian and did not speak good Japanese, but nice to us.
      In terms of being able to choose the meat with your own eyes, I think the Nikuya Yokocho Shibuya restaurant in our other video would be a better choice for you.

      @@aya_food_adventures Thank you Aya san, i would think so too, but regardless of the customer nationality shouldnt the staff be consistent and polite like the Japanese culture to treat each customer with the same due respect?
      I have been in Japan for almost 1 month and I realised that some establishments are not as welcoming towards the tourists.
      The service staffs can be aloof and come off rude.Even when the tourist tries to communicate in Japanese. They however remain courteous towards their own counterpart.
      While I can understand the impact of tourism is huge, one must not forget that without the tourist returning, the economy wont be able to recover. The people of Japan in the hospitalty will suffer.
      We order the middle course, but again, the cuts of meats r terrible.
      With the money spent, I may be well better of getting the beef elsewhere.
