hey man, just had the exact same issue. First try twisting it with a wrench, if that doesn't work, then you have to use the opposite end of a woodworking hammer to lever it out, just like pulling a nail out of wood. Can leave some bad scratches on the valve cover so put a rag under the spot you're pushing the hammer into. Hope that made some sense.
It's a 3 liter because of the cylinder size and piston stroke... The head is the same as 2.5 liter. Hahaha XD Whoever installed the gasket the first time didn't install it correctly.

@@ExplorewithZac Took it to the local mechanics and they couldn’t get it out either, just put it all back together and forgot all about it tbh
