I just love these cold, dark, beautifully rendered spaces with the ASMR environment sounds - dripping, hissing etc. A dream for someone like me. It truly is a masterpiece. I could just walk around those tunnels for hours. I don't think there is a game that had that same gothic but naturalistic air that this one has.
Man who you telling lol I’m doing step by step to the truth meaning he walk I walk.He go to safe room I go to safe room hell I would’ve even paused if he did that😂😂😂
Stranger Things: well I don't mind some commentary here and there, especially certain puzzles new players aren't familiar with in Resident Evil, but most people that play these games act dumb as fuck doing commentary, and some even talk during cutscenes. that being said, a person who knows the game well can still show people where to go and what to do without talking.
I applaud your patience to complete the entire thing without skipping anything!! And the addition of the Albert Wesker part looked so fun!!! So now we know how ended Lisa Trevor and escape the mansion. Beautiful movie!!!
Just what I was looking for! Nice walk through of someone who knows what they're doing and where to go with all the cut scenes and allows you to read the notes with little saves playing naturally actually using ammo. One of my favorite games of all time, and it's just as fun to watch it played through like a movie! Only wish is for the door loads to be edited out hah. Thanks man! :D
The door loading bits are part of the experience. It adds to the tension. Resident Evil: Code Veronica even had some intentionally longer door opening sequences to add even more suspense, and Resident Evil 2 added a jump scare behind one of the doors just to keep players on their toes.
Man, I've played my fair share of Resident Evil games, even the older ones, but this game just gets me stumped so easily. Something about how it's structured gives me so much trouble. I have no idea where to go and I'd spend hours before I finally figure something out, only to get stuck again. I've had to watch every second of this walkthrough just to make progress, which is a shame because I'd rather experience as much of it as possible on my own before looking for help.
Same with me lol. I spent about 3 hours playing and I was only about 30 minutes into this video in progress. Getting the right items in the right area and all the backtracking was making it pretty frustrating, but if I were more willing to spend the time running around I know I'd figure it out but it was making me so frustrated I caved and used the guide.
Using the map is key. Just look at the map every few minutes to see which rooms you still need to examine and if there are any doors that you could maybe unlock

I literally just bought this game, and since I completely forget how to play, I thought I should refer to an expert and here I am watching your playthrough. Thank you for these videos.
Use to love watching my sister play on PS1. I was 9 and scared of the zombies, so she cleared the mansion so I could run around, and play. I saved and came back one time and a zombie appeared that she already killed! I couldn't shoot properly at that time, the zombie killed me, and I was afraid to play for a long time. I still loved to watch her play though. Now I've got a kid of my own and decided I'd play again so I could teach him how to properly throw the controller and scream like a girl, as you dive behind the couch 🤣 This video has helped a lot though. First time I've ever played a Resident Evil all the way through. Although he didn't get the second floor map, it's still very helpful to just try to copy him.
It's like watching a film but you can give it direction, some ppl don't understand when ppl play these games that whoever is playing, their mates can laugh at losses, be happy at winning and just have a laugh while playing or watching
This is so wholesome ! My siblings and I used to do the same thing. Our big sis would advance on a game and let us roam free on the map. We often did it in Majora's Mask. As for watching other play, this is like a tradition. When someone play we gather and watch like we'd watch a TV show. I mean, right now I'm watching my little brother play RE1 so I've looked up for a walkthrough just in case he doesn't know how to progress.
The Remake is done well, but the dialogue lacks some of the truly memorable lines such as "Hope this is not Chris's blood" and "It's really powerful, especially against living things!"
I’m playing this for the first time and I’m so mad I ignored this game for so long, damn near a perfect game and easily the best in the series til this day… I’m just surprised how much freedom you have to play the order of events… My play through has been very different from other players but wow what an unforgettable experience!!!!

I can’t wait to replay it over and over again. I’m only 30 minutes into the game apparently and it’s been 2 days lmao
The fact you have to very specifically examine stuff on your inventory is overkill lmao. I would had never figured this game out if it wasn’t for the examining stuff. Just having to press A during examining the damn golden arrow. Made it so I completely missed that. I was walking around for like an hour tryna find out how to break the arrow tip off.
Funny thing about resident evil 1. If anything that resident evil has taught me is this, save your magnum for the bosses. Yet berry just fires his magnum willy nilly taking several shots just to take down one zombie. Yet it only take one magnum not to insta kill most enemies in resident evil xD. Is barrys buddy system lacking?

Angelo De Ochoa right they went to shit with 4 because the zombies aren't even real zombies they are just sick and act like human haha then resident evil 6 and operation raccoon city are good because they went back to real looking zombies.
I wonder if these zombies are as brain dead as they are pereived to be. I remember in the original game, in the kitchen you trigger an additional cutscene where a zombie walks down the stairway (towards the kitchen) and he grabs the knob and opens the door. 1:56:30 It seems as if they are this... Zombie: Uhhhhh...oh wait...there is a door knob. There we go. Now back to my act. ...uhhhhhh....
Great work as always 👍 Btw my opinion is you should make your intro look more creepy, a silent hill the room short clip mixed with sad/creepy bgm will be amazing together :) And look like you haven't try Dreadout, it a good indie horror game so I think you can give it a try ;)

@michellemillet3035 6 is garbage. 4 is the peaked RE
501K subz and growing. I expect your sub count is going to make a big jump when you get your RE4 remake footage up.
Best RE game, hands down, no competition, except MAAAYBE 7
The SHN opening is super cute, I love it!
screens a lil dark/can be hard to see on my monitor but thanks for the showcase. really helped and appreciate it.
keep gaming folks
It is The best from RE and from RE remakes...
Love the extra at the end for Wekser. Awesome
Amazing, just finished it following this guide, difficult game but a masterpiece
I'm really out here thinking I'm in the mid game but the part I'm in is literally in the first 30 minutes of this walk through
The game may have been remastered but the bad voice acting is still the same.
Part of its charms, I suppose
The BEST Resident Evil game EVER !!!
R.I.P. Joseph got killed by zombie dogs 2:31
I don't know how I beat this game back in the day!!!
"Let's not leave this hall!"
"Good idea!"
*immediately leaves the hall*
I wonder if these zombies are as brain dead as they are pereived to be. I remember in the original game, in the kitchen you trigger an additional cutscene where a zombie walks down the stairway (towards the kitchen) and he grabs the knob and opens the door.

It seems as if they are this...
Zombie: Uhhhhh...oh wait...there is a door knob. There we go. Now back to my act.
...uhhhhhh....
Wish you could stomp on lying enemies in this game to makes sure they were dead
Great work as always 👍
Btw my opinion is you should make your intro look more creepy, a silent hill the room short clip mixed with sad/creepy bgm will be amazing together :)
And look like you haven't try Dreadout, it a good indie horror game so I think you can give it a try ;)
