Hope you'll enjoy this tour of LGBTQ+ Amsterdam! Thank you to our lovely guests Annedi and Anfisa 😊 Lots more great places in the city to check out, we may even do another little tour to check out other honourable mentions like Bar Buka, Saarein, PRIK... what are your favourite queer spots in the city?
Thank you so much for such an amazing day! 💕 we truly hope you enjoyed all the locations and will have a great time exploring the queer scene in Amsterdam more 😘
Vrankrijk on Wednesdays and the Trut on Sundays are two other places I like. For those with no regular working hours ;). Although I haven't been since the pandemic so I'm not sure how it is now.. And certain events are fun, like Janey and Milkshake.
Now, I am excited to visit Amsterdam because of y'all! I am going there this November, and thank you for this video. It's fun and it gives me tons of knowledge where to go!
You both make such a cute couple! I recently started dating this woman I've had a wicked crush on. "Charlotte" and I met at a TDOR vigil last November. We've attended some meetings with our local trans group and hung out outside of our meetings since. Late last month, I shot my shot with her. Charlotte knew I had a crush on her the whole time. She then asked me out on a date. We've since gone on a few dates and up to New York City for Pride. After we got back from NYC, we went out on a post-Pride date. Charlotte then asked if I'd be her girlfriend. I said yes! And now we're officially a couple! I've never traveled outside the U.S. but if I do, the Netherlands is definitely on my list of countries to visit. I'd love to visit Amsterdam and some other cities for the queer spots and weed.
Thanks you two for these exciting impressions from Amsterdam! Would love to see a 2nd tour! It looks like I have to pack a suitcase soon ;) Greetings from Germany
My spouse and I are going to be there in less than a week. We arrive Sept. 07.. I'm so excited! My birthday is the day after we arrive. Thanks for posting this, it gives me some ideas of places I want to see while we are there.
I’m a brown lesbian living in Amsterdam, one thing that’s important to note about the lgbtq+ scene here is that it is very white. I stuck out and felt so out place in reguliersdwarstraat. There’s a lot of racism and discrimination. So the scene is more inviting if u are a white queer person
Thank you for mentioning this! You might already know about this, but also for other people that feel the same: there are other places like Bar Bario or parties from Klauw collective in Rotterdam that are actually organised by and centering people of colour and those are also way more inviting to trans and non binary people for example :)
Thanks for sharing your experience, that's a very important point to make and unfortunately seems to be the reality in many European cities. Having lived in Toronto before, it was much more diverse and inclusive. And we still haven't checked out Rotterdam, perhaps that could be an idea for another video.
❤️ seeing Amsterdam thru you gals! Times are awful in the US, time to retire and think about relocating. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
Really horrible what is happening in the US... unbelievable. But yes, thankfully there's other safe and beautiful places that could be an option until things get better again, hopefully! All the best!
i have been watching you two grow since 2019 or late 2018 and i am so happy to see how you two have flourished. i adore watching your videos always. you two have beautiful souls, thank you for sharing and existing. this was insightful and nice to see. the freedom there must be exquisite to have!
I live in the Hague and we don't have that many rainbow flags in here which I miss awfully. Amsterdam is much more crowded though. However, I love the Dutch vibe that anyone can lay back and be themselves. The Netherlands is truly a place where you can be who you want to be and no one will judge you. Thanks for the video! You guys are amazing!
Check out "Lola the green aardvark" at the Mauritskade near by your place in the Oosterparkbuurt (it's near the Dappermarkt); really nice café! Have you been there already? It's a queer café with a nice terrace...
Beautiful video. This was just what I needed after arguing with my homophobic evangelical father today. I’m 41 and he’s still an ignorant ahole, with a very gay and proud daughter🌈
I was born straight, unfortunately but I just love Amsterdam and the Netherlands in general for how open and free it is. Anywhere people can be their true self is amazing
I didn’t like Amsterdam at all bc of the red light district, the many tourists and the human rights issues there. But I know you guys love Amsterdam and I sure met one of my best friends there! ❤
It's been decriminalised for personal use since 1972 and you can buy cannabis at so called "coffee shops" here. Still waiting for proper legalisation and controlled sales like in Canada though!

For real, thank you Anfisa for being an openly queer person from Russia
omg it feels so validating seeing someone from your country live their best life as their authentic self... Anfisa, you’re awesome!
The style of your videos is always superb. Your music, editing, and content are so very well done. I enjoy watching your videos over and over again!

awesome video! ☺️ as a queer individual hoping to move out of the USA within the next 2/3 years it’s really nice to see an inside look like this :))
Check out Bar Bario! It’s close to Pamela if I’m not mistaken. It’s queer poc owned! Aaand the drinks and people that go there are 10/10 💃🏽
Nice! Thanks for the tip :)

When she said "queer scene in three words" I heard "infighting" rather than "inviting" oof, the stories my head spun...
