When I was a kid I remember touring the studio for the original first movie many years ago and seeing this on a large scale. It’s amazing how that works. I never thought to try it on a cell phone. I just have to try it now.
Did the phone trick today with my kids! We watched the movie over the weekend and had to try this! I ran an empty laminating sheet through the laminator and cut out my pieces since I didn’t have any plastic, it was a little flimsy but it worked in a pinch!
Do u believe in ghosts? Have u ever seen a "ghost" that u couldn't figure out how it was done? So convincing as to make it appear possibly real? Personally I don't believe, but I want to. 👻 Just not convinced... 💕
@@toffee20 There is practical effects. It's been talked for years from Dan Aykroyd (who's more involved with the film's budget, not just returning.), Jason Reitman (his goal is to scary the cast), and Finn Wolfhard who've seen them. Isn't hard to tell when they mimic and puppeteer the effects when they move and fade away into a colored peanut or noticeable looking stop motion going 60p. Maybe once behind the scene stuff gets released after the film, we'll just see.
@@DanPlotMix All clips of the ghosts so far are 100% CGI and rendered poorly. All ghosts in the original were practical and puppeteered and looked real. Not this fake cg crap.
@@toffee20 Maybe it wants to fake unpurpose as the original's practical effects. You can't deny the scene of the terror dog bashing out of doors stick out.
I want that Bugeye animation to do the big 45 degree peppers ghost. He is awesome
Totally trying this out!!
Let us know how it goes! 🙌
5:01 *Holy crap it's the Bug-Eye Ghost from the Kenner Toyline!!!!!!!! :D*

That's so cool! Definitely give this a try! 🙌
Were you at Universal, by any chance? That was the _Spooktacular_ attraction, the largest display of the illusion to date.

That's what we love to hear! Let us know how it goes! 🙌
Where’s the Bug Eye asset seen in the preview video?
You can click in the link in the description or find it here: ruclips.net/video/AOyi7yR3ze4/видео.html
You don't need this if you've got real ghosts
😳😳😳
Where do we get the video of the 4 angle Pepper's ghost
It’s in the description
@@ImpossibleScience Thanks. I missed the 'Read more' tab.
Who the hell is Muncher? He looks like slimer! The first bona fide capture and inmate of the Ghostbusters.
No one ever says the thickness of the glass needed. Does that matter? How thin or thick should it be?
👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I love this video I prank my friends
Nice! Did you try it already?
I want to know how to do it with the big plexiglass please.
Where did you get the video you first used for your hallway projection?

Too bad the ghosts look like crap.

The ghosts are from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon. Bug-Eye Ghost. They're doing homage to the cartoon as well. Gunner seat was part of it.
@@DanPlotMix I know, but the rendering and animation is lousy. No practical effects. Sad.
