But I don't think its healthy to be too slim. I am super slim myself but want to gain weight. There is such a thing as underweight and it comes with a lot of health issues as we age
Thank you for sharing this!! I would love to learn more about day-to-day food from Azerbaijan. I feel like we don't learn much about Azerbaijan here in the states, but your content has made me do some research. On a different note, I didn't learn much about etiquette from my parents as a kid, but your content has helped me adjust as an adult. Jamila you are perfect maşallah. Dont look at the bad comments they are always find something to say. If you were overweight they would say you are fat etc. The most important thing is that you feel good in your body❤. I have 2 kgs to loose for those who find me overweight but I feel good in my body and that is the most important for me🥰
Mom of 3 who also stayed in my shape I appreciate these type of videos. I’m 178 CM that’s considered 5,10 I think . I stay between 58&60 it’s where I feel comfortable and happy. in all my pregnancies I was about 70 /72 and it was so hard 😂because it’s the biggest I have ever been.

173 cm and also weigh around 50 kg. I'm a bit nervous about pregnancy, the thought of looking completely different from what I have these past ten years or so is quite daunting. But you have managed to quell my nerves and assured me that I'll still be me after coming out on the other side! It feels like the popular narrative around pregnancy is that your body will never be the same, and you might as well give up on going back to the way you were before, but that just feels like such a bleak mindset. There's a bit of truth to it, though. Your body does change. Lots of factors contribute to what those changes are and whether or not they are, for lack of a better word, reversible. Either way, children are a blessing.

We are the same height. And I am also small framed. I think it is key to cook at home. I don't add much sugar or salt to food. Also, I also keep simple foods. Very good topic.
I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old. I'm 4'9", so my body doesn't look the same at all. I had a terrible time with both of my pregnancies. Heart issues and having to stop working and not allowed to drive because of fainting and wearing heart monitors that caused allergic reactions to the adhesives. I'm now the heaviest and most out of shape I've ever been. I want to be back down to about 90lbs, but I'm currently about 135. I am breastfeeding and I tend to binge as soon as I'm able to set the baby down and get a moment to myself. People keep telling me not to think about trying to lose weight until I'm done breastfeeding because it could mess with my supply. I feel like I'm just kind of in limbo until I can really jump in and change my body.
Don’t worry about it sweetheart, just nourish yourself and eat what you need. Your body has been through so much! Just let I’d be and feed it healthy food, as much as you like. This is a season, your going to need time to breastfeed and recover. You’ll get there when your life is ready for it!
Focus on maximizing nutrients and getting enough protein, complex high fiber carbs, and healthy fat instead of dieting-your body needs them to replenish itself, and it may help with gradual weight loss because you’ll be satiated.
It’s not about a fast metabolism (more mass = more calories burned, so your BMR is higher at a higher body weight). However, the genetic components around *appetite* are really strong-how quickly you get full, how sensitive you are to fat and sugar, what you crave, whether you’re neurodiverse and seek dopamine from food instead of just satiation, etc. People with small appetites who are restless and constantly fidget are often the ones who seem like they can eat anything and stay skinny, because they burn a lot of calories even without deliberate exercise and don’t gravitate to food. They might be seen as big eaters, but that big meal might be their only food of the day, or they might eat a ton one day and practically nothing the next day because they just aren’t hungry (and it’s an unconscious response to their body’s hunger signals/appetite, so it’s not an eating disorder).
Simply not true. For years when I was younger I tried loosing weight, trying all sorts of toxic diets. Nothing worked, my weight was always up and down and I was over weight. I had my daughter and went completely organic, whole foods, making meals from scratch. All family and friends ask how I maintain such a slim body and why I never put on weight. It’s not genetics at all, simply eating well.
@ thank you so much! Could you please recommend some specific products or tips to get rid of the stretches or prevent them? 🙏🏻 I’m new to everything about motherhood and feel anxious if my body would change too much 😭😬
@@MoonLight-g9fHi! In my experience, there are only 2 factors: 1) genetics. I had a very dangerous pregnancy, gained 30 kg (from 64 to 91), huuuge baby, I was swollen and miserable, I only have one stretchmark on my right hip. Baby is now 20 months old and I have my sixpack pack. My friend gained only 7 kg, has given birth prematurely to a small baby, has a lot of stretchmarks on her belly, sides, hips/bum and breasts, just like her mother. The only thing I recommend is rubbing shea butter on your belly when it starts to itch from stretching. 2) if you get them, you can laser them off ONLY when they are still purple/red. Once they become white, you should become good friends, as they are part of life and they don't take away from your beauty and worth. Good luck!❤

But I'm trying. I'm intermittent fasting and long term water fasting and eating no carbs or sugar and exercising etc. It's taking FOREVER 😢
Make an etiquette video for moms. I struggle to keep certain manners when I'm out with a toddler and a baby especially table manners. When I am sick and constantly have to get up and blow my nose and take a baby and toddler with me to the restroom everytime I have to blow my nose. Or carrying a heavy purse full of diapers and wipes and baby bottles and it's too heavy to hang on the corner of the table, too big to put behind me and the chairs are full to put on them. Or what about when you have to feed your baby with you, how do you do it elegantly when you are making messes and dropping everything?
Jamila, do you know if a waist trainer will help if I had my baby 18 months ago? I’ve been working out at the gym daily and I am thin, but where my c-section is, I see there is a slight flabby area above my incision. I hope it’s not too late.

People with eating disorders are good at convincing themselves and others that they are very healthy, I’ve seen it too often and there are signs of that here.
At 175cm and 50 kilos you are very much too thin. I’m not sure why it’s appropriate for someone whose medically underweight to encourage others to follow suit. You are clearly extremely restrictive with your food intake and I don’t think that’s wise. Doing this is unhealthy and gives a frail, sunken appearance that is very ageing.
