In this ONE particular case, ....HUSH MONEY .....TRUMPY'S lawyer, COHEN, has already gone through this SAME TRIAL ...being accused of hiding the "money trail" ...AS INSTRUCTED BY HIS BOSS, TRUMPTY. COHEN was found GUILTY and has already spend his time in jail.
So the question is, how could this possibly be a "witch hunt"??? IT CAN'T BE ......but this is what HUMPTY TRUMPTY does .....he repeatedly LIES ABOUT EVERYTHING. If COHEN was found "guilty" .....TRUMPTY IS GOING TO BE FOUND GUILTY AS WELL. His own defense has suggested this more than once AND the incessant delay tactics speak volumes of these expectations.

Sadly, this trial is not televised ....probably more likely for the safety of the jurors. It would be a huge learning experience for the entire world, to be able to watch TRUMPY throughout the proceedings. I wonder if the jurors identity could be hidden ....even with COVID facemasks ....or something that fully hides their faces?

I've never seen an innocent defendant so reluctant for the chance to prove their innocence.
Prosecution should make sure to put him on the stand even if they have to call him as a hostile witness. He will definitely purger himself repeatedly on the stand.
In New York it is the right of the defendant to go under oath and his alone. He is surely being warned against it by his lawyers but I think he won't be able to help himself when it's all said and done. And then he will bury himself even further.

Former US presidents retail the title for life. When referring to Clinton, W or Obama, it is appropriate and correct to precede their name with "President."
That said, I have no issues with lawyers and Judge Marchan referring to him as Mr. Trump during the trial. He is not being tried as the President, after all, but rather a private citizen.
Postscript: the thing that really gets me is when Republican lawmakers say things like 'I talked to the President recently, and he said..." and they're referring to Trump, instead of the current US President.
