Augie 2 - NW Rider takes on Midwest Blue Diamond - Lake Jacomo, Missouri

Lake Jacomo Trails system is located outside of Independence Missouri near the small town of Blue Springs. The trails hug the edge of Lake Jacomo and included green, blue and black trails. This video is a sample of Augie 2 which is a blue diamond trail. The trails around Kansas City are cross country in nature, meaning unlike the NW with hour long climbs, these trails are full of flatter terrain littered with rocks, slaps and punchy climbs (even the blue trails). Yet I still did 1,000 feet of climb on this day. These trails are legit, requiring strong legs, good balance and bike handling skills.
