Phone issue - how many time it saved me :D The most hilarious video about tech support! I'm watching it again and again, and laughing even more with each time!
IT world is funny. You get to experience things you never imagined. Most of the IT companies force employees to read a soulless script. Personally, I received many kudos and even "I need to speak to your supervisor" the good way. When that happened, the supervisor sent an email to the whole floor as a way to recognize your good job. Ironically I scored 0's in QA for not being "empathetic", "assure help" and "follow the script". Then I lost my bonus and other benefits. I didn't care, as long as the customer felt happy and their problem were fixed. Anyways, I knew it was a temporary job.
I called HP for help and the tec took over my computer to help. He cleared items I did not need, we chatted and laughed, talked and when all was fixed and wonderful.....I asked what his favorite food was, he laughed and told me ( even put the recipe on my computer!). I then asked to talk to his supervisor. He hesitated and said ok. I was connected to his supervisor and gave the guy a rave review and told the super to buy him a lunch. I told the man what to buy and he laughed and said he would . I got a call from the supervisor THE NEXT DAY!!! He said he bought the tec and himself the lunch! How wild is that! I will never forget this. I don't want your script. I am thankful for what y'all do and let it be known HOW personable, helpful , kind and fun one has been. Octavio, I hope you have found a job where you are appreciated. I tell whoever is helping me ( every place I shop or call) I shall compliment them for taking time to help me.
As soon as I heard “object reference” my mind immediately went to object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is it bad I’ve had that issue so many times I’ve got the error code memorized.
Phoenix Storm Jr. I’ve had it happen many times in audatex, it’s an automotive estimating software and autofocus, which is a automotive job tracking system that used sql for databases. I cannot remember If I’ve ever run into that issue in quickbooks because it’s been a while since I’ve worked for Intuit but there’s a possibility I saw it there
@@spetsu1 it seems so much like an error I've seen in programming. I thought for a minute it had to do with variables not being declared. Thanks that was driving me nuts.
@@phoenixstormjr.1018 basically, you labelled something as an object, but the computer doesn't know what it is. You've asked it to find a rhinopotomus without telling it what it is.
I am actually a tech support guy and it's not how it works here, but very similar to how our partners are working. So dumb when you have to explain some obvious tech things to another "tech" guy on that side.
I needed this laugh today...hilarious!!!! I relate tremendously...as the customer and agent actually.I give 110% though and I don’t think it does too much but man we work ourselves to the ground...and it’s pretty ridiculous...but the laughter is making it better...Thank you
OMG, this was me trying to fix my spypoint camera! Is anyone in India actually called "Sonny Boy"? But the next guy had roosters crowing in the background. Honestly.
This is precisely why I never call customer support for anything, unless specifically ordered to do so by my boss. And he watches me until I do it. Under all other conditions, I just search the Internet for possible solutions and fix it myself, or create a workaround.
ah, the sweet struggles of when you need second-line support, but you get redirected between first-line supports that only know how to go over a checklist XD
1:38 As a Slavic person working at tech support service desk for an american company and (currently) British customers, yeah, it hurts how on point this is. I used to hear this sort of accent every day when I actually worked from the corp office. Luckily for our customers, not all of us are like this. Unluckily for the Americans, these fucking greedy companies will gladly fire their own fellow citizens, just to save some money. They're so cheap that they can stack billions upon billions and still not be able to afford to hire employees within US, because they have to pay those a few K's every month. Why pay one employee that much when you can hire someone overseas for $500 a month.
HeHeHe -- Good video. Yes The great well known tech support. We are always speaking to non USA speaking people who are not even located in the USA. Besides hard to understand what they are saying, they always give us the run around. I had an issue with something like this a while back and would very hilarious if it wasnt for the serious problem. take care.
😔 i don't want to do this job at all,i got this job because we are cheap for hiring and running the business,i think i have to learn coding and all the stuff.
This is part 1. Part 2 is when they want to call a manager and escalate . Part 3 is when they know the ropes and want to speak to the manager and escalate as soon as the ticket is logged :)))
"But are they dying instantly or slowly maybe?"
Hahahaaha I’m tech support and this is actually how it works!!!! So good!!!
I mean-how it doesn't work...
Honestly i really cant understand people working more than 6 months in tehnical support, im doing my mandatory apprenticeship and it sucks ass lol
@@Gripengamer how did it go
@@Gripengamer gg
Your accents are spot on.
How big is your pain sir? 1 to 5 billion
We all need a friend like Rajesh

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this actually happened to me, but it was local retail related, after so many transferred calls the final one ended up at reception of a hospital
As soon as I heard “object reference” my mind immediately went to object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is it bad I’ve had that issue so many times I’ve got the error code memorized.
Same for object reference...)))). We all memorized that error.
Ok. What program does it appear on? I have never had that error. I have a COMPTIA and CCNA and am dying to know what this means!

Perfect. Except that Rajesh would have told you his name was Jon, Pavel would have introduced himself as David, Luigi would call himself Ben, etc.
Yep.
Approved! This is very true!
I am tech support and I approve of this message.
Cracked me hard. Only when you are trying to make a person solve a million dollr problem by paying him 10 bucks.

"Object reference not set to instance of an object"
As someone who programs with C# for unity I understood that
I bet Comcast and Verizon are like "Write this down!"
- Ok, sir. Thank you for letting me know. - And?
So true, so true. And even after people make jokes about it and broadcast it around the whole world they still do it exactly the same.
perfect polish
This guy is good changing accents.
Excellent item and quite proper graphics. SEO evolves every day.
