    - Fundamentals of tactical pistol shooting
    - Basic shooting positions
    - Speed/tactical reloads
    - Double taps/Mozambique drill
    - Malfunctions
    - Weak hand shooting drills
    - Unconventional shooting positions
    - Shooting with use of cover
    - Multiple target engagement
    Special thanks to,

    You should move to a country that allows you to own guns for self defense

      It's not in Belgium, but not too far either. We simply join the course from Romulus & he arranges the weapons & ammo. You could also take your own if you want, but we still don't have ours (the process is too damn long! 😂) I Viper

    Did you mix dummy rounds in between the live ammo to train the immediate tap-rack-bang reaction? Or were there actual malfunctions? Nice course! Wish I could join

    • @ReconBrothers

      When the instructor is in between the targets and the participants all guns are empty. This so the instructor can see that all students completely understood the drill before we go with live rounds.

    Cool video, what's the purpose by putting your hand on your chest/shoulder when turning to engage?

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  Год назад +1

      It's to prepare your support hand to meet up with the pistol, such that you push it forward to engage. This gives you the time to start aiming (and prepping the trigger) before you're fully extended and once you're in the final position are ready to fire. Meaning you're saving time. Note that this is not only during the turns it's basically a movement you always perform when drawing a pistol.

    All these ppl relying on red dots when training is hilarious. Youd all shit ur pants if you found yourself in a situation and ur precious red dot didn’t work. 🙄

    • @ReconBrothers
      @ReconBrothers  7 месяцев назад

      We've even done trainings where we simulated a failing red-dot (by taping them off), to learn to shoot solely from muscle memory. But besides this, it is far more stupid to hinder yourself from not getting faster and better thanks to the use of a red-dot. Of course you still have to be familair with iron-sights first (which we also did. In our first lessons with this instructor we had to prove we could shoot with iron sights first, before being allowed to use red-dots).

      These were the instructor his pistols, wo we don't know every detail. I think they were both Glock 17 models. Both had Holosun red-dot sights & one had a Streamlight TLR-7A flashlight while the other had a Surefire X300 flashlight. We know they had much more upgrades & even some custom work on them, but. for that we should ask the Instructor. If you want, we can do that for you. 🙂 I Viper
