      @@KickItNaturally I have yet to read your book, especially Chapters 3 and 4, but I will soon ;) In the meanwhile, I thought I'd share an interesting detox / cleanse tidbit that I recently heard about. A health expert named Linda Clark (author of a book titled 'Natural Remedies', and a few other books also) was in a radio interview, on a 7th Day Adventist health-oriented show, broadcast weekly. She said that before someone tries to Detox, that person should first "open up" (or prepare) "the organs of elimination" (such as the kidneys, gallbladder, liver, etc.), so that when the detox process actually starts (for example, when juicing a whole lot of beet roots or other veggies known for cleansing), ... the organs of elimination will have a good ability to eliminate the toxins. In other words, carry them out of the body successfully and easily. Otherwise, the toxins being "freed up", loosened, or being encouraged to leave where they are being stored at - won't be able to be gotten rid of easily, and will mostly end up being just circulated throughout the body (and causing illness & problems in the process), making the person feel miserable. In other words, the Cleanse process will create more problems (causing toxicity etc.) than it solves or alleviates.
      What do you think of this idea of: "opening up the organs of elimination" first, before attempting a major detox'ing or cleanse process?
      Also, would a coffee enema (or else a Coffee Suppository), or even a "colonics" procedure (simply flushing the bowels with warm water) be one way of "opening up the organs of elimination"? Prior to doing a gallbladder flush, for instance.
      Would a coffee suppository, done under the right circumstances, be as effective as a coffee enema? If not quite as effective, is there an estimated percentage of efficacy, comparing the 2 different procedures? Thanks!

It is a malabsorption procedure, I knew this going in…it has worked well for me and I’ve lost over 250 pounds, no diabetes, HTN, etc. However, I know I have issues and was wondering about the best way to optimize the system I have. Chronic diarrhea, light stools and gas so bad I’ve had businesses think they had a septic issue. I understand you are not an MD- I’m an NP but looking for opinions. Thoughts?????

Ive always had this issue but didnt notice until i tried to eat over 1600 calories. Its nearly an impossibility. Ive outgrown the asmtha but is it a possibility that the asmtha caused the long lasting eating problem? Im 5'7" and weight about 160 lbs. I started lifting weights at 46 and gained 15 lbsof muscle in that time but i have stopped gaining muscle due to not being able to bring in the nutrients to add more muscle. Do I probably need to eat more of it? I am tired a lot and can fall asleep at almost any time.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Год назад

      Hi @Donna garner , most people who tend to gravitate away from meat do so because they don't feel great when they eat it. They don't feel great because meat is harder to digest and they are dealing with digestive malfunctions. This video explains this a little bit better: ruclips.net/video/0qilA_e4lL0/видео.html
      So you might have a need for more meat, but eating more won't improve anything unless you fix any digestive malfunctions.
      But there are also other causes for a person to be tired all the time. This video explains those: ruclips.net/video/LsOb4BxPADk/видео.html

      Hi @Colmanx , you came to the right place. Here is our video on how to thin bile and improve bile flow: ruclips.net/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/видео.html
      You really need to do that as you fix reflux or fixing the reflux could create other problems, but fixing bile flow alone won't correct your reflux. Here is the video to understand why most people have reflux: ruclips.net/video/ZDTUrYGVu7Q/видео.html
      But it sounds like you desperately need to go through our totally free digestion course. That will walk you through figuring out if you need to fix the acid side and/or the bile side of digestion, plus do you need to wipe out a bacterial overgrowth before you can fix your reflux and stuff like that. It's about looking at your body chemistry instead of just using a remedy. You can find that free course here: kickitnaturally.com/course
      Let us know how it goes.

      @@KickItNaturally Thank you for reply. Yes I agree. I took the lactulose breath test and came back SIBO positive. I also had a gastric ulcer and inflammation in blood tests so it seems to all be connected with some issue maybe relating to either low stomach acid or bile flow as I got food posioning before and never recovered fully from it I feel.

      Interesting @Colmanx , I lost my voice for 8 years, and all my troubles started with an episode of food poisoning as well. SIBO is almost always the result of low stomach acid and the acid barrier not being there, and allowing bad guys to come in and set up camp. This SIBO video could help: ruclips.net/video/H98DpFNES0M/видео.html
      But it sounds like you probably need to wipe out some bad guys and then restore stomach acid function, and if so, you'll want to make sure bile is flowing better or the improved stomach acid will likely cause trouble. That free digestion course I talked about will walk you through how to navigate all that.
