--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
September 1938, Europe is at the brink of war, Germany's recent annexation of Austria has sparked fear for a potential second Great War, and now German demands for the territories of the Sudetenland have caused a European wide crisis.
However, not all hope is lost, the British have offered a meeting in Munich with Germany, France, and Italy to all discuss the Sudeten Crisis, peace seems plausible now, and peace may remain.

The War That Came Early was a six-part book series created by Harry Turtledove, often considered the "master of alternate history".
In this movie we explore what happens from the first three books, from then on, it's all up to my imagination to decide how it ends.

Wait was this all just a dream by britain?

That ending was quite terrifying. When the Munich Agreement was signed, it was seen as averting another Great War. What it really was, ended up being the British giving up Czechoslovakia to save themselves from fighting for them. This "alternate history" takes that many steps further: Allowing Germany to wreak havoc on everyone else you love to save yourself from internal collapse.
If the French really wanted to fight they didn't need Britain to.Could've defended Czechia on their own.
Spolier
@@Jahanceltic Then don't read the comments before finishing the video smh.
I normally don't enjoy dialogue all that much, because it delays the interesting stuff. But you made sure that the dialogue in this movie was really something. Very good video.
This deserves alot more recognition. I can tell you put alot of work into this and absolutely love it
This was one of the greatest alternate history mapping videos I've ever seen. Amazing stuff!
Very underated channel.
Very underrated channel, i enjoyed watching this movie.
Congrats!
You and wicked make the best alternate histories on the platform. Do much attention to detail
So it was all a dream, this earlier war.
especially towards the end this started reading as a truly poetic tragedy, like watching a highly praised play or reading an acclaimed book. this was just really great
Incredible.
someone make a timeline for all the oversimplified references
Very cool
Cool video
I finally found it, i remember watching this a while back
Will there be a part 5?
Reminds me of the Harry Turtledove series
Are you going to continue this?
What is the name of the music that plays between 59:47 and 1:05:09 ?
CAN u but the alliance place so we can no whether it's a territory or ally(either way a great series)
What map / textbox do you use?
Greece was a real one
this is real cool, but it's highly unlikely germany would be able to actually invade czechoslovakia. Why? Because they had some of the most advanced forts at the time, kind of like the maginot line but larger. still cool, but you could have used realism at least.
the crazy part is that none of this could've happened if Churchill didn't die
Nice first
At what cost indeed.
Dobruja is rightfully romanian, if anything, Bulgaria would have gone to demand only the south, since the north was and is majority romanian.
