I got an anvil for my birthday from him in late December right before he passed. What an interesting guy. Great tour you got there. We spent a few hours there as well.
Wow what a collection.. There is a picture floating around the internet of a 6000 lb or 6000 kg anvil.. I kept the pic in my other tablet.. Nice vise you scored.. I hope you do a restoration video of it.. Well take care my friend and thx for bringing us along on another adventure...
I have a Trenton that has Indian chief stamped kindof on and over the Trenton logo. Any chance I can get any info on that? I heard you say Indian chief in the video, and that struck my inquisition?
Oh very nice! ive only seen one other with both stamps please send me a picture on my instagram and i can do some research with my anvil friends, my instagram is MEXASHOP1
Interesting collection but they are many experiences quietly larger by amount and by quality and historical values such, The Anvil Museum of San Martino, situated in the Romanesque church and its adjacent rectory, inside the Medicea Fortress of San Martino, San Piero a Sieve near to the city of Florence Italy
Hello Mexashop, I'm restoring a Parker #435 that I dragged out of the woods during a woodsplitting excursion for a buddy. It seems to have some original colors on it. Does anyone know what they looked like from the factory? It sounds like a clown vise, but there's a spot of black on the top of the slide at the rear of the dynamic jaw, the bolt down ear has red on it, and from certain angles the raised lettering is yellow. So, black vise body, with yellow lettering, on a red base?? I'll capture photos before I go any farther. I'm going with your railroad vise/stand finish, maybe gold or copper lettering.
Do you have any Deeland jewelers vices I have a 1 inch jaw and a 2 1/2 inch jaw Deeland any info about the company would be much appreciated. I just watched your video with Will dang that is one hell of a collection, my hats off to you amigo
