    Since I filmed this, they added a 2nd battery option;
    1) MOLICEL M50A 25Ah 1170Wh
    2) MOLICEL P42A 21Ah 982.8Wh

      They used to charge extra for the M50A or on carbon version but they are they same price here on the bamboo... What would be the real world difference between the two? They usually list the different ranges/speeds when they offer multiple battery options but they didn't do that here. I know the P42A is like the gold standard but the M50A has nearly 200Ah more, will that equate to more range? Does the P42A have a longer lifespan or better reliability because the numbers make it seem like the M50A is the way to go. You did say that the P42A has a higher discharge rate, does that mean faster acceleration or top speed? Which would you choose?
      I know a number of people have had issues with the carbon version's trucks snapping. They say that they have made some changes but it's kind of disconcerting... Do you think they have fixed it?
      This looks pretty nice but for that price I would have liked to at least see a gear drive option especially since nearly every other company is starting to offer one. Have you used or heard of the omni gear drive system? It looks pretty freaking sweet and incredibly versatile and it seems to solve one of my greatest reservations about most gear drive systems that really limit your wheel options. I bet using the omni gear drive on this board would be awesome!
      Thanks for the videos man, I am super jealous of all the cool places you get to ride and cool new boards you get to test and I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and experience!

    I'd love to see it with street wheels, maybe some 105s but there won't be clearance for the enclosure with small street wheels?

    Ownboard and B-One boards uses almost the same parts. Like their trucks, motor, and motor mounts. What i find interesting, is that you can add brake lights for this board from the b-one board, and its a direct fit. And you plug the light on the esc with 2pin connector.

    Oh, loved the added effects in this one, especially the last scene. Really well done, keep em coming!

    • @certifiedalchemist
      @certifiedalchemist Год назад +2

      Personally I would go with the Explorer. Tynee has pretty good customer support.
      I like the idea of a 5P battery, but not sure I need it. The Explorer gives me about 3 hours of riding around (~40km). Don't think the 4 kg extra weight on the ownboard is worth the extra capacity. The Tynee Explorer is also considerably cheaper, just make sure that you get the P42A version and maybe upgrade to riptide pivot cups (Indy) and bushings. If you can wait a little, I would see if Acedeck releases a new bamboo board this spring. If that's the case that will probably be the board to get.

      Another amazing review Scott!! We hope you felt the difference in the deck. We really spent a lot of time perfecting the deck. We took cues from the LDP community and applied it to this deck. It has the perfect amount of flex by providing a stiff 7ply maple base with two plys of bamboo. The two layers of fiberglass holds it all together for a consistent feel over time and protects it from the elements. If you noticed you made it up to 55 without much fuss even with the crosswind. We improved the trucks for even more stability and carve-ability. The production cost of this board exceed that of the Zeus Pro. Each time we try to one up the one before. One thing we would like to point out is that the 7” tires/tyres accelerate slower than the 6” tires/tyres. The BZP is one heck of deal alone and with the free Shred lights its a no brainer! We hope you enjoyed the board as much as we enjoyed making it!
