I am also a 45 minute drive from a Container Store and have not visited in years. I have done some online shopping there though and found some very useful boxes for storage.
They aren't quite as common as places like Target or Walmart. Glad the online process worked for you though. There are some great storage solutions available for sure.
It's a three hour drive to the nearest Container store. I hope to get there someday soon. I have seen the magazine holders used for quilt rulers. I have a lot of rulers and these would keep them organized and handy.
I absolutely love going through The Container Store! The closest one to us (sadly) is in Dallas, which is a 2+ hour drive away. Mama & I used to go there on Black Friday every year when we go to Dallas. Of course, last year that didn't happen, & with the seeming preponderance of covidiots here in Texas, it looks more like it won't happen this year either. :( Not being able to go in such stores (safely) makes me soooo anxious for this pandemic to be OVER! Mama & I have been vaccinated, but with the delta variant & the attitude of a lot of people here, I just don't feel comfortable going in a lot of places. Anyway, thank you for the virtual tour. I love when you take us shopping with you! :) I hope y'all are well. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
It’s been years since I’ve gotten to go to a Container Store. I love them. It looks like the nearest one is 3 1/2 hours away. Thankfully there’s videos like this & online shopping. Thank you!
Love the reversible lid and other accessories for the carts. I have 2 carts in my craft room. I am right there with you on clear acrylic storage. It is my go-to for my craft room. I often find less expensive clear acrylic storage pieces at Marshall's or HomeGoods. My latest craft room purchase was a stainless steel 3 shelf cart on wheels at Amazon for my color printer. It's really for a kitchen, but it is perfect as a printer stand. And because it is 3 shelves, I'll put the printer on the top shelf and craft supplies on the other 2 shelves. I'm running out of room in my craft room and having carts on wheels is really helpful to move stuff around. Thanks for the shopping tips.
Enjoyed your tour. I love the container store. Especially the Elfa System. I bought the elfa system items when they were 40% off…….usually twice a year. Have the system in my craft studio, office, and bathroom. Along with various pieces through different spaces. When I was doing my master closet I bought the different colour hangers……colour co ordinated the hangers to my clothes…….yes it was colourful but equally very organized! Love love love the clear containers. Thank you for enabling 😉me with an excuse to visit the container store……..I’ll send you the bill……😅🤣😂 just kidding. Im going over to their website now and making my list right now! Appreciate you sharing 🤗🤗🤗 this today. 🥰
To be honest, I find the Container Store a little overwhelming. I'm so glad you explained how some of the containers had other pieces. I never noticed that before. Very cool. I am also a lover of acrylic storage!
The Container Store is excellent. I love the tray wheel stand, it’s cute. 👀 Most of the items are very pricey, but great quality and worth it. I am going to visit a store in my area. Thank you for the tour 😀
This is one of my favorite stores and many items from the kitchen and bath section are in my craft room. In fact I have two of the InterMetro Chef Carts in my craft room. They are on wheels and more sturdy than carts I have found other places. Industrial steel and I picked out the pieces I wanted and height as I have a very high craft desk. The store is expensive but as you said well worth it as everything lasts forever. We put the Elfa system in my daughter’s bedroom when she was in elementary and through high school. It had a desk and shelves and when she moved out and had her son it went in his room. It was used for over 30 years when she finally got rid of it. Money well spent. That said I can’t afford to shop there much anymore. Blessings Elisa
The container store is pricey, but the quality is there. I used some items in my classroom for years. Elfa items in my closet for storage, metal shelf in my bathroom. Their storage tubs outshine all others. I borded the acrylic train last year and am added items. I've been meaning to get to the Container Store. Now I definitely will as I saw a few items that I would like to have. Thanks for showing the acrylic items.
This is the best thing I have found at Container Store. Multi Purpose Bin in 4 sizes. Not pretty, made of plastic, but very inexpensive, durable and fits on a Kallex self with 12x12 paper in them.
Oh wow, we need a container store in the Netherlands!! What an amazing products. So many of them I've never seen. I really love the inserts for the carts. Those are amazing. 😍
Love the Container Store.. Yes the prices can be expensive, but they are definitely great quality.. We have a 1.5 drive to our store, but its worth it.. Their customer service is fantastic.. I have bought several things there over the years... lt's great to join the Pop rewards program, they have coupons, etc... I use the acrylic holders for my 8.5x11 cardstock as well.. Thank you for another great video... The metal drawers have been on my list too...
You know I love your field trips....I wonder if that expandable would fit on a cart? Now I've got to plan a trip to The Container Store before Thanksgiving (it gets nuts around our malls). Those drawers are speaking to me, so are the cart inserts, and the marker storage! (I'm thinking the closet system you showed, might be an option with this armoire that I keep monkeying around with. I'll have to remember to take the measurements with me to get an estimate.) Thank you so much for taking us along and sharing such exciting finds! Blessings my friend.
I enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing, I make cards as well as draw, so some of what you showed looked very nice, little on the costly side though, Alao My crafting is in my bed room so I would like to organize my card making supplies, Like Die Cuts, Embossing folders and my 12 x 12 Card stock .
Glad to know Shirley. I love them too, but the price at TCS is steep. Will head out to these stores you’ve recommended to see if they’re more affordable there. Thanks!
I wonder if the cart accessories fit the IKEA cart. I know the ones for the Michael’s cart do not. I love the Container store but the closest one to me has the worst parking and so not worth the trip. TFS!
I wonder if the rolling cart inserts fit the similar carts made by Ikea. So many people have them in the craft room it would be nice to see if the accessories fit!
I sure wish I had the countainer store close to me! I like the looks of this store. I'm gonna get online and see where the closest one is. Thanks for sharing. Oh by the way I saw the live but it wouldn't let me chat ! What the heck? Ha great live and thanks again for the share. Have a super fantastic weekend 💜💜💜 Sherry
Aw, sorry it wouldn't let you chat! The container store really is a fun place to visit in person. The sticker shock is a lot, but like I said, sometimes it is totally worth it.
Wow! I haven’t been to the one in San Antonio in ages. Of course, now I live in Austin. Oops. The things I have purchased from there have lasted forever.
Thank you! Pricing makes me neglect The Container Store, but when I see these PERFECT organizers my heart just flutters!
Yup, the price can definitely be a deterrent, but you are right...if the piece is perfect, than it can be worth it!
Thanks for another great shopping video! Yes, the items seem pricey, but they also look very well made, and I bet they would hold up for years.
I truly think that they would! Really good quality!
Love the Container Store. THankYou for all the tips. Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!

Have not been in the container store in a while. Now I need to go. Thanks
Such a cool store to visit in person!
Thank you for an extremely informative video. I especially love the metal drawer sets you showed at the end of the video.
Aren't those soooo cool?!?
The cart accessories! Will be on my Christmas list.
Mine too!
It's a three hour drive to the nearest Container store. I hope to get there someday soon. I have seen the magazine holders used for quilt rulers. I have a lot of rulers and these would keep them organized and handy.
What a cool idea, to use them as quilt rulers! Three hours is a long way away for sure.
Thank you for reminding me about the container store. Not one real close to me either so I often forget. Making a trip today❤️
It is such a fun store to visit! Hope you have fun!
I love love love this store, but oh the cost!!
For reals! If I had an unlimited budget, I would buy all the things here. But, as it is, I just pick and choose every now and then.

I’m in Texas and feel the same way!! Ugh I’m so over it.
Sorry things are still so rough down there! I hope you are able to get out and about soon!
It’s been years since I’ve gotten to go to a Container Store. I love them. It looks like the nearest one is 3 1/2 hours away. Thankfully there’s videos like this & online shopping. Thank you!
Yay for online shopping!
They have such cool stuff! I could see using the less expensive drawer inserts for storage. Loved those pull out cabinets.
For reals! So many great solutions. If I had an unlimited budget, I could do some serious damage in that store!
Those metal drawers! I’d have that pink one in a minute💕💕💕
Right?!? Those didn't come home with me, but I would LOVE them eventually. Just gotta figure out exactly where they would go.

Awesome storage solutions! And yes, I agree, you can find some less expensive pieces at HomeGoods for sure.

No problem!!

Haha, I hope you enjoy your next visit! So many great finds, and you are right, shopping during that 40% off sale is key!
Love my container store. Just need to watch for their sales
Yes, good tip!!
To be honest, I find the Container Store a little overwhelming. I'm so glad you explained how some of the containers had other pieces. I never noticed that before. Very cool. I am also a lover of acrylic storage!
Glad it was helpful! It is a lot to take in for sure.

I agree - the quality is great! Hope you find some awesome products that you love!
So many great finds. It’s a bit of a drive for me, too, but maybe I’ll have to make a trip to Container Store soon!
It is truly such a fun place to visit, but of course, organization is TOTALLY up my alley!

Glad to hear that those items lasted so long for you! You are right, there are some really awesome, functional pieces for sure.
Both of us love The Container Store! It’s an hour from home, but I found the best paper storage there. Thanks for these extra ideas for our next trip!
You are so welcome!

Acrylic storage makes my heart so happy!

Nice! I love how durable their products are.
Oh wow, we need a container store in the Netherlands!!
What an amazing products. So many of them I've never seen.
I really love the inserts for the carts. Those are amazing. 😍
I agree! Those are going on my Christmas wish list for sure!
Someone needs to tell us if these cart organizers will fit in the Raskog from Ikea! Please.
Yes, I want to know too....I am almost tempted to go buy one just to see!
i’ve always just wanted to move into a container store and call it “home”! 😉
For real! That would be so awesome!
I wish we had a container store here in Australia 🇦🇺
It really is a fun place to visit! Do you have anything similar?
Love the Container Store.. Yes the prices can be expensive, but they are definitely great quality.. We have a 1.5 drive to our store, but its worth it.. Their customer service is fantastic.. Good to know! I haven't joined the POP program, but I will look into it!
Awesome video! Thanks so much for sharing ❤️💕
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Thanks for the video. Interested in where you got that little mint green retro typewriter?
That is the We R Memory Keepers typewriter - amzn.to/3kazrYX
@@ScrappyWife Thanks so much!
I want to go to a container store and see all the treasures.
It is such a cool store for sure!
I have always wanted to go there or ikea 😀
It is such a fun store to visit in person because there are just so many treasures!
You know I love your field trips....I wonder if that expandable would fit on a cart? Now I've got to plan a trip to The Container Store before Thanksgiving (it gets nuts around our malls). The cart inserts were so cool! Definitely take measurements with you in advance. Or do a little online planning before you go in person!
@@ScrappyWife good idea! I'll do that so I don't go overboard.
Yes, definitely a little pricey, but some of the storage solutions can't be beat!
Bed bath and beyond, Lowes also have larger cabinet cheaper than the container store.
Which cabinet specifically; the metal drawer ones?
Yes
Glad to know Shirley. I love them too, but the price at TCS is steep. Will head out to these stores you’ve recommended to see if they’re more affordable there. Thanks!
Good to know!
I wonder if the cart accessories fit the IKEA cart. I know the ones for the Michael’s cart do not. I love the Container store but the closest one to me has the worst parking and so not worth the trip. TFS!
I'd be interested to know that as well! Haha, bad parking situations are so frustrating, so I can get how that would be a big deterrent.
I wonder if the rolling cart inserts fit the similar carts made by Ikea. So many people have them in the craft room it would be nice to see if the accessories fit!
Agreed! I was tempted to buy a few and try, but didn’t this time around. Might just have to make another trip!
How much was the rolling cart you showed in the beginning?
The tag above the cart indicated $34.99. But that price may not include the additional divider accessories.
Yes, 34.99 - but, all the accessories were extra.
I sure wish I had the countainer store close to me! I like the looks of this store. I'm gonna get online and see where the closest one is. Thanks for sharing. Yes I love the container store but VERY pricey. Loved all the options though
Yup, definitely pricey! Haha, I told my friends that if I were rich, I would be SO organized 😂
This makes my virgo heart sing . I need a date to container store that’s my love language
It is a super fun place to visit!
Wow! I haven’t been to the one in San Antonio in ages. Of course, now I live in Austin. Oops. The things I have purchased from there have lasted forever.
They really are good quality. Sometimes the price tag is prohibitive, but quality is hard to come by!
Isn’t there one in Austin, in the Gateway Shopping Center?
@@mrscutthroat9467 I will have to check that out. Thanks.
Drooling. If money was no object how fun would that be.?.??
For reals!!! I could do some serious damage in there with an unlimited budget!
Good lucite is expensive! I have never had the pleasure of visiting a Container Store.
It really is, but I absolutely love the look of it!
I want to watch this so bad but it's making me nauseated because you are moving the camera so much
Sorry to hear that.
Same, couldn’t watch.
Guess that doesn’t bother me, I didn’t notice it at all. Sorry it’s a problem for you as well as others
Try lowering the playback speed to .75. I find that helps me when a video makes me nauseated.
