I think Indesit was a very good budget brand(before Whirlpool Corp. bought the brand of the family Merloni) for home appliances. It's with Hotpoint and Arsiton better than the appliances made by Whirlpool, Gorenje, Amica, Haier etc.
Thanks for the vid, thought I would look on yt as mine went straight into dry (orange and then green) without washing and just did nothing. Did a total reset and it seems ok. The 35' cycle is now +45' does not go into heat ....not sure if it did on that cycle before though. But washes great as always. Cheers mate.
It still amazes me how appliances vary in different parts of the world. Here in the US we don't have filters like that. There is a large mesh in the bottom but nothing ever gets trapped in it. Doesn't make sense to me. I read that you have to take the pump apart to clean out the food. Also, we don't have the option for adding salt, which would be really nice as we have hard water here. I am not sure why we don't have these things. Some people have water softeners that filter all the water that comes into the house but most don't. This once again proves Europe, or at least the UK, has better appliances. We pay a high price for the very basic. For example, my SEBO D4 Premium cost over $1,000 (with sales tax) which is a lot higher than what you pay in the UK. Also, the top of the range Miele canister is nearly $1,500. Crazy...I am moving to the UK!!
I agree. I've had European dishwashers and found them both to be overpriced less reliable and none of them dried as well as a Kitchen Aid, Whirlpool or Maytag. Moreover none lasted nearly as long
How does it fare compared to the Miele in terms of washing performance? Indesit as a brand is ok, depending on what you buy. It is like a FIAT: If you buy a simple, cheap one like a Panda it will last for ever, buy something with lots of gadgets and electronic and you will regret it for life. We have a 23 years old chest freezer from Indesit, of course it spends a lot of electricity and the rubber seals aren't the best but it never broke down. I have rented house with fridges and washing machines from Indesit, fridges are decent (for what they cost) but washing machines sometimes are crap and don't last. Ariston is always a step up in reliability
+ibaisaic well you did have a bad ass vacuum with you sometimes it nice clean a place where you are staying up to your standards a sense of pride you also get doing it .
It's just fun to try out a vacuum on different carpets for a change and see what lurks deep in the pile. I am off on holiday again in a few weeks but I haven't decided what machine to take yet.
@@ibaisaic to be honest with you I never did have any experience with indesit appliances because here where I live exactly in Algeria this brand does not exist at all but after watching your video it seems like it's just another generic dishwasher that does the job done not the most impressive but it works
I would use a low temperature programme and obviously I wouldn’t put battery operated dildos or vibrators in the dishwasher unless they were waterproof.
I have an indesit mini washer like the ones where you put on the table and it works well for a year now

We had an indesit dishwasher once. It was great!
The owners of the cottage didn't clean the dishwasher for their next guests. I hope you had a nice holiday.
Ah thank you! Just moved with this dishwasher at my new house and was wondering what the red light was for. I’ll be topping up my salt shortly 😀
I hope you enjoyed your holiday!😎
I spent most of it cleaning.
6:13 These filters are designed to protect the drain pump from food debris
Thank you for this video. It’s a bit like a tutorial to me 😅
I have a indesit washing machine and it's fine !
LaundryKid2005 how long did the ecoe mode take to finish?

From what I remember it seemed to clean pretty well, but it’s not a brand that I would consider myself.

Door won't close any ideas how to fix it
We’ve had our dishwasher for a while now the top right hand light is flashing very fast can anyone help

I added salt and the red flash on S sign is still here. i put it on the hot cycle and it stops in a middle, and then starts flashing in S
Veronika Potter did you ever find a solution? I'm currently having the same problem
hi, yes, it means your heating element id "dead". Replacement is quite expensive but in my case it was cheaper than buying new dishwasher

My grandma has a indesit dishwasher, but's it really old.
...
Your grandma or the Indesit dishwasher?
Nice kitted out holiday home you don't want to waste precious time do doing dishes on holiday .
No, I wasted time cleaning under the beds, the stairs, mattresses and all the nooks and crannies, but I had a nice bag of filth to take home with me.

No, it only seems that way. I am on holiday in a couple of weeks though.
+ibaisaic nice

Correct, that’s why I don’t own any Indesit appliances myself.

Is it safe to watch sex toys in a dishwasher ?
I would use a low temperature programme and obviously I wouldn’t put battery operated dildos or vibrators in the dishwasher unless they were waterproof.
Glass yes. Latex no
@@williamread720 I actually tried latex and it's been fine however my dishwasher does have a cold setting
