It's not only the $ for the rink now, It's the recurring cost of an outdoor rollerskating rink exposed to Chicago winter temperatures. How much will she need to raise taxes to pay for that.

It's not that big. It's literally not even a block long and is why you see the skaters reaching point B quickly after starting point A. I doubt it holds forty people. They don't serve refreshments or anything. If you notice, there are few people there as is the case with many of her events but you can't tell because her face is always in the middle and when she pans the crowd, you can see what's actually going on.
