So is upstate SC welcoming to someone who grew up in PA, went to Clemson, and made the awful mistake of moving to CT? I am a Christian Conservative woman wanting to live in a welcoming community. I know the upstate has expanded a lot since we moved.
If you enjoy traffic, hushed crime and ridiculous Real Estate prices, move here. Native to the Eastside, we are not as welcoming as we once were. The benefits do not outweigh the increase of taxes, housing prices, grocery and the problems with traffic. Highly aggravated and annoyed with our once cool, little city being a mess now.
