When I was 12 I got to meet Adam West at a local convention (decent sized but still small) and got an autographed photo from him (photo of him as batman holding the bomb). It’s still hanging on my wall about 15 years later.
Anytime I see Adam West as Batman it always brings a smile to my face because we went from his classic take all the way to Robert's current iteration. Really hope to have a complete Batman Legacy display one day. Hearing you say that the Hot Toys figures havent really aged well gives me hope for a 2.0 down the line. If I go down the 3rd party route, that's a slippery slope for me. 😂
I have been actively watching the 1966 Batman show(in order to boot!). Those snaps on the backside of his suit, I think are super accurate to the show. There was an episode where Batman had his cape off(*gasp* I know! It was really weird looking) and he had this snap looking connectors on his back. I figured it had something to do with his cape. And yeah.. I guess so! They are on the figure as well!! It’s been fun watching the show. I looooove the riddler

I decided to order the 2nd reissued batch of these and sold my other ones and I have to tell you that I really have noticed several differences on these figures and I'm so glad I sold my other ones. I've noticed on the Batman one is he has padding in his suit like the Hot Toys one, second thing is the logo was raised a little higher than the last one, third is the trunks have been corrected and no bagginess to this one at all and last is this Batman is a little taller than the Batman in the 1st batch. The only thing on Robin is his cape is a little longer than it was in the original batch. This second batch is two times more identical to the Hot Toys ones than the first batch. I highly recommend the 2nd batch.
Excellent review Justin and nice touch with the transitions! Batman joker and robin really look good together. It's funny to imagine Adam West's Batman going up against Darkseid, also i haven't seen the show but i'm sure his batman gets more done than Pattinson's
I just got my Saturn Toys Batman and Robin today. They are very nice and are going into my 1:6 scale Batmobile I'm getting from Jazzinc Dioramas. I can't wait. I had a set of the Hot Toys Batman and Robin, lived them, but they were lost when I moved back in 2019😭, so these are replacing them.

As someone who has the hot toys versions it’s not enough of an improvement to warrant buying however they are slightly better in places. However that joker is awesome

been that Saturn version is a few hairs shorter then they likely fit even better on Jazz's 66 Batmobile Vs Hot Hoys version where Batman's Cowel is skinning the bubble Canopy overhead. waiting to SEE you do that review Justin :)

@JustinsCollection one of the best gags in the movie is probably where the duo are doing their wall climbing shtick at the docks, and discussing the effects of drink on the sailors, and Robin says: "Gosh, Batman! It must be terrible when you can't believe the evidence of your own eyes!"
I had some overdue property tax I had to pay so what I did was sold the Hot Toys pair at market price, used the funds to pay off my taxes and pre-ordered this. Because that's what Batman would do. If he were broke.

The bomb and the Bat Shark Repellent are from the feature length movie, produced to sell the series to foreign markets. It also had all four "super-villians": Joke, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman joined forces to dehydrate the UN Security council and hold them for ransom.

I believe those are the correct heights of all three figures. Adam West was 6' 2 and Caesar Romero was 6'3

I’m pretty sure those are new headsculpts. The side by side of batman looked a lot different.
Just a byproduct of recasting, every single line and winkle is the same on the cowl. They cast it differently so the ears look different
