Hihi, saw ur reels on instagram and came here! Thanks for sharing so much details on the star trails setting! Am excited to try it soon w my mountain hike trips! Do you have any tips for taking videos of the milky way? Thanks!
Kia Ora, so stoke you found these. I can’t wait to hear how this all works out for you. Have a look through my other tutorials and you’ll see one on shooting astro, it’s an oldie but a goodie.
Great examples! I can't wait to go somewhere in nature where i can try this out. Unfortunately there's a lot of light pollution in the city i live in and such shots are impossible 😩Really wanna test this feature of the GoPro 11... Would probably be a great submission for the million dollar challenge as well, they mentioned they wanna see shots using the new night modes 😉
@@BareKiwi Thanks! It's rare that the sky is so clear that you can see the stars inside the city, i sometimes forget they exist 😅 I need to go somewhere in nature to be able to do this or wait for one of those rare days 🤞 But i can definitely try the light-painting and vehicle lights modes 😁
Yeah this is a tough one to answer I personally like to leave it for a full battery amount of time or I’m also plugging into extra power like the volta or powerbank to get the full night
Kia Ora, to make this whole video I used Adobe Premiere Pro but if you look at my other tutorial videos I show I use Quik app to edit star videos as well
Super cool video and love the energy mate! 🔥 those shots are amazing 🤩
Thank you so much mate
Imagine that effect mountain biking - WARP SPEED AHEAD! Thanks for the info bro! Those star trails... maaaaaate!
Not sure it would work while biking but worth a shot

I hope this helps you some but I honestly think you should just give it a go and see if it works. Experiment with faster shutter and lower iso maybe

Bro how long is long enough to leave it out for? Are we talking full battery? Or less?
Yeah this is a tough one to answer I personally like to leave it for a full battery amount of time or I’m also plugging into extra power like the volta or powerbank to get the full night
Doesn't it heat your gopro shooting in 5.3k whole night and automatically shut down ??
Dosnt iso 1600 makes a grainy footage ?
It came up great in my tests and you can see the results in this video. I didn’t add any noise reduction to any of these by the way
Hey, what app did you use to edit?
