Cyberpunk 2077 - 2.0 - Radeon Boost lowering resolution with camera movement

  • I just updated Cyberpunk 2077 to the version 2.0 and whenever I move the mouse around, the 1080p resolution seems to be downgrading to 720p or less. This even happens on the menu! (shame that I did not open the menu during this 1 minute gameplay)
After further checking, I found out that it's caused because the Radeon Boost is on with 50%. It's not a glitch though, I was informed that it's just how Radeon Boost works.
Still, I think it would be better to turn off Radeon Boost or decrease the percentage of it to a minimum.

well actually that how radeon boost work, it lower the resolution when you move a mouse and returns it to Native while camera is still.

This is correct. I also got this information from a friend who works at AMD. Radeon Boost's job is to lower the resolution of the outer areas of the screen, while keeping the center the same resolution. Still it looks very annoying as it lowers a very large area. So technically it's not a glitch so I'll edit the header :).
      Thank you for the comment!
